Résumé Cet article présente tout d’abord la manifestation « Les 24 h de l’innovation ® » dont le principe est basé sur un défi de créativité en 24h chrono. En effet, des équipes composées d’une dizaine de participants (étudiants, professionnels…) doivent concevoir des concepts innovants en réponse à des sujets proposés majoritairement par des entreprises de différents secteurs. Le lendemain, les équipes présentent leurs résultats (esquisse, CAO, calculs, prototypes…) en 3min devant un jury qui a en charge de nommer les lauréats. Cette manifestation « Les 24h de l’innovation ® » est organisée par l’école d’ingénieurs ESTIA depuis 2007 et rassemble annuellement 250 participants de type étudiants et professionnels. Le but de cet article est de montrer comment cette manifestation stimule des pratiques collaboratives et créatives dans un contexte de type « open innovation » pour les entreprises mais également des pratiques pédagogiques pour la formation de jeunes ingénieurs, développeurs, managers… Par ailleurs, la question complexe de la présentation et de l’évaluation d’une proposition de conception innovante est ici abordée par l’analyse de données collectées lors d’une expérience menée pendant les 24h de l’innovation. Pour conclure, l’article présente une méthode d’évaluation de l’innovation qui peut être utilisée pour analyser les alternatives innovantes les plus prometteuses parmi les propositions générées lors des 24h de l’innovation.
