This study is a study that explores cultural values and develops a gymnastic movement that originates from the Aceh Rampoe dance in Langsa City. The research method used is a combination of qualitative research and development (Research & Development) from Brog and Gall. In the part of exploring the cultural values of the Rampoe Aceh dance, qualitative research methods are used with a holistic approach through in-depth interviews and direct observation at dance studios. Historical analysis of this dance is not a traditional Aceh dance that has existed for a long time. accordance with the terminology of the naming "Rampoe" which in Indonesian translation means "mixture", then this is the essence of the Aceh Rampoe dance. This dance is created and developed by combining or a mixture of several types of traditional Acehnese dances, such as the Likok dance, the Saman dance, and the Seudati dance. At each movement and the translation of the meanings contained in the Rampoe dance, it shows a variety of life messages related to the orientation of cultural values, namely first, the connection between the essence of a life of the Acehnese people (MH), and secondly related to the nature of the relationship between the Acehnese people and others. human (MM). A cultural value orientation that leads to the essence of life in oneself which is a creature that is created and has the creator, as well as relationships with other creatures (humans). So it requires a way to remind oneself to build a relationship between the creator and the creator (Allah SWT), which is accommodated by the element of religiosity that is felt in the lyrics of the Rampoe dance which are full of recitations of shahada and Shalawat. The Rampoe dance movement consists of Nyap (bending), moving steps, Rheng (horizontal movement), Asek which is a movement of turning the head from right to left, Ketrip Jaroe which is a movement in the form of snapping fingers, Nyet which is the body resting on the feet, then Dhet namely the movement of shrugging while the hand is slapped to the rhythm of the song, Gudam Kaki, and Puta Taloe, which is moving alternately between dancers.
The purpose of this study is to determine the ethnography of the lives of female fishermen on the coast of Paluh Merbau, Tanjung Rejo Village, Percut Sei Tuan District. In general, it is done to find out the problems by female fishermen in the utilization of marine resources and the form of local wisdom in the use of marine resources on the coast of Paluh Merbau. This study uses an ethnographic method with the descriptive approach using data collection techniques through in-depth interviews related to the life history of fishermen and Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Lecturers and students stayed at 10 female fishermen houses. The results of the study showed that female fishermen sailed from 4:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The equipment and technology systems used are still traditional, namely using two boards, a bucket, and a bottle of drinking water, bubu, and flat shoes. These hunters of marine ecosystem resources obtain catches in the form of shells, bare, king crabs (belangkas), crab, and shrimps with an average income of IDR 30.000-50.000/ day. The result of this income is exchanged or bartered into kitchen materials such as sugar, oil, rice, fish, and others. If sea water is high, generally women plant rice in the fields, making skills in the form of sticking cloth from mangrove processing, and other economic activities to supply the needs of their life.
Ritual keagamaan menjadi salah satu cara manusia untuk mendekatkan diri dengan Tuhan yang memiliki kekuatan tersebut. Emosi keagamaan semakin terbangun, sehingga kepatuhan dalam menjalankan segala perintah agamanya dan menjauhi segala yang dilarang oleh Tuhan akan semakin terlaksana. Begitu juga dengan Suku Punjabi penganut agama Sikh di Kota Medan. Suku Punjabi penganut agama Sikh adalah salah satu etnik yang berasal dari India Utara. Dalam ritual keagamaan yang dilakukan, umat Sikh tidak pernah terlepas dari penggunaan susu lembu baik ketika sembahyang di Gurdwara (rumah ibadah umat Sikh), maupun dalam ritual keagamaan lainnya. Menggunakan metode peneitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur dan analisis etnografi serta analisis domain, penelitian ini mengungkapkan pengaruh dan dampak terhadap penggunaan susu lembu dalam ritual keagamaan Suku Punjabi penganut agama Sikh di Kota Medan. Ternyata susu lembu menjadi penguat betapa sakralnya ritual keagamaan tersebut. Susu lembu diolah menjadi sebuah makanan (karha parsad) yang kemudian menjadi media pada saat dilakukan Ardas (prosesi berdoa). Karha parsad tersebut kemudian dipotong dan dibagikan kepada umat Sikh lainnya.
This study reveals the pornographic consumption behavior of children in the city of Medan with the analysis of porn culture. This research focuses on the types of pornographic platforms accessed by children, the background of accessing pornographic platforms, and the activities carried out when accessing pornographic platforms. This type of research is qualitative with data collection techniques through unstructured interviews, namely Medan city children aged 8-10 years, and virtual observations on pornographic platforms that are accessed. Accessing pornography in the cyber world creates a new culture in the porn culture in cyberspace called porn chick. The wide choice of pornographic platforms that are easily accessible via smartphones, such as online comics, online games, Twitter, Telegram, and other social media, have made this new culture filled with child users, both those who are just trying to join and who have become customers (members)
This study aims to analyze the various local wisdom of the coffee farming system in the Gayo Highlands and the existence of local wisdom in the agricultural system that is applied. In addition to identifying problems faced by farmers and how to handle them in managing agricultural resources in Bener Meriah Regency. This is not only as a form of preserving local knowledge related to the wise use of the environment but also as a solution to solving human and environmental problems. This study uses a qualitative research method with an ethnographic approach. This method was chosen because in carrying out the documentation it is necessary to have a holistic description of a study. Therefore we need data collection techniques in the form of participatory observation, in-depth interviews, life in, and documentation of informant activities related to the agricultural system. In the end, this research leads to the concept of Indonesia as a country that can penetrate the international market in coffee income through a local wisdom system that is still preserved. The results of this study are expected not only for scientific purposes and to answer research problems, but more importantly and significantly can contribute to identifying forms of local wisdom that are still maintained and provide benefits in the lives of local communities.
