This study aims to determine the stereotype Melayu Malas on Ethnic Malay associated with the term "kojo saibu tak kojo mangatus kojo tak kojo saibu mangatus" for the effect on the work ethic, and community perceptions of the negative stigma on Ethnic Malays, as well as the impact of stereotypes. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, using data collection techniques with non participation observation and interviews, the researchers not directly involved with community activities but only observe and conduct a question and answer. Based on the research method is the verdict that stereotype Malay lazy aimed at the Malay community in the Village Nenassiam is the result of past experiences of ethnic groups that serve as self image to the Malays that gives effect to the work ethic masyarakatanya, where it has become the benchmark for welfare is considered to have a relaxed work ethic and want delish without life planning ahead so that the results obtained are also modest. The views of the public like two sides of a coin, on one hand the people refused regarded as Malays lazy but the other communities is also confirmed that the Malays are lazy, while the impact of stereotypes Malay lazy affects three things: social relations, ethnic conflicts, identity ethnicity.
Kecanduan pada alat teknologi membuat anak tidak mengoptimalkan pendidikan baik secara kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik. Hal nyata yang dapat terlihat ialah dengan minimnya motivasi anak dalam membaca buku. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perluasan literasi pada anak, salah satunya melalui mendongeng. Hal ini tidak hanya bertujuan sebagai perluasan wawasan dan cakrawala berpikir anak, tetapi juga sebagai sarana menularkan nilai-nilai kebaikan untuk pembentukan karakternya. Kelas dongeng diperlukan sebagai wadah untuk siswa/i dapat mengembangkan bakat dan imajinasinya dalam bercerita. Mendongeng adalah proses mengubah perasaan & pola pikir anak. Karakter dan wawasan anak akan terbentuk melalui komunikasi yang dibangun dengan cerita. Sebuah pelatihan mendongeng pun dilakukan pada siswa/i di dua desa pada Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan, yakni SDN 104607 Sei Rotan dan MIS Karya Shabirah Desa Kolam dalam rangka membangkitkan semangat bercerita melalui mendongeng di kalangan siswa SD sekaligus melatih guru-guru mendongeng dengan berbagai teknik-teknik dalam bercerita/ mendongeng. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa/i ternyata antusias dalam mengikuti pelatihan dan selama delapan pelatihan telah mampu mempraktekkan dongeng di hadapan umum.
Indonesia is a multi-ethnic country consisting of hundreds of tribes and cultures who are faced with various problems including health issues. Health and disease are major problems facing the people of Indonesia since prehistoric times. Similarly, the city of Medan percut sei districts are faced with a host of health and disease. At the community in addressing pain and its treatment often make use of modern medical services when their economic conditions are not sufficient. While they can actually use the land in the yard to grow nutritious crops for the first treatment. Indonesia is also rich in ethnic groups that reached more than 370 ethnic and traditional knowledge which is the nation's cultural heritage in the use of herbs for health maintenance and treatment of hereditary diseases. In the study of anthropology known as ethnomedicine treatment. It is very interesting when examined from the standpoint of anthropology, especially about the treatment ethnomedicine.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan; tujuan diadakankannya; keluarga yang berperan serta dan makna dan symbol di balik kelengkapan yang dipergunakan dalam tradisi mangupa upa pangaranto. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yakni memaparkan data hasil penelitian berdasarkan fakta yang ada di lapangan. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini dilakukan melalui penelitian lapangan (field research) dengan metode wawancara tidak terstruktur dan observasi tidak berpartisipasi. Tradisi mangupa upa pangaranto merupakan adat warisan turun temurun masyarakat Batak Toba di Dusung Gunung Bosar. Terdapat 5 (lima) anggota terpenting yang harus ada dalam upacara mangupa upa pangaranto yaitu anak yang di upa-upa, amang, inang, ompung dabawa dan ompung daboru. Syarat pangupa yang dipergunakan adalah manuk mira, nitak, aek sitio-tio dan utte pangir. Syarat yang sering digunakan berupa ayam atau manuk yang menggambarkan ketegaran, kegagahan dari seorang yang di upa-upa. Dalam upacara tradisi ini, dapat dikatakan ‘mujarab’ apabila orang yang melaksanakannya memang benar-benar percaya dan meyakini apa yang telah mereka lakukan. Apabila dilaksanakan tetapi tidak yakin atas doa-doa yang diberikan sudah pasti doa yang diberikan tidak terkabul. Intinya, dapat mensugesti dan menjadi motivasi orang yang akan pergi merantau agar selalu giat dan kuat dalam menjalani hidup di daerah rantauannya. The supply of world energy resources is increasingly depleted. The abundance of cow manure and banana peel can cause environmental pollution. It can be used as raw material for biogas because both materials have a high methane gas ratio. This research is an experiment with six variations in the amount of mixture in each experiment. Results of the research on gas pressure and the best biogas production results using 1-litre banana peel substrate and 4-litre cow dung. Data shows that the gas pressure is faster and is greater when the pH of the mixture is acidic 6.2, the mixture is thick green and has a strong odour. Gas pressure on day 20 is obtained by 106421 Pascal. The average value of the results of the validation of the learning resources of the three aspects of an assessment is 82.3%; it shows that the poster can be used as a learning resource.
