PurposeLeadership has been known for its tremendous impact on employees' outcomes in any organisation. Constructive leadership positively impacts employees, while destructive leadership causes counterproductive work behaviours (CWB). This study aims to investigate the effect of toxic leadership on employees' CWB via the role of turnover intention by employing the psychological contract theory.Design/methodology/approachThe participants were recruited using various recruitment methods such as online recruitment and alumni networks. After dropping some participants who failed to complete the three-wave data collection procedure, 457 responses were used for the final data analysis. The participants came from various public organisations in Indonesia (e.g. hospitals).FindingsThe results found that the effect of toxic leadership on employees' CWB was mediated by the role of turnover intention. Under a toxic leader, employees might intend to leave the organisations and commit CWB as the employees perceived the psychological contract breach.Practical implicationsFirstly, public organisations should implement some strategies to reduce the emergence of toxic behaviours. Secondly, public organisations should evaluate and examine how leadership is exercised within public organisations. Lastly, the organisations must ensure that their leaders do not breach employees' psychological contracts.Originality/valueThis study has highlighted the effect of toxic leadership on CWB in public service organisations by employing a psychological contract theory and a power distance perspective.
Village funds are a form of assistance from the government as a means of supporting and stimulating development and community empowerment in the village. The purpose of this study was to determine the supervision of village funds by the village consultative body in Batumatoru village, Lariang district, Pasangkayu Regency. The research method used is a qualitative research method by adopting escort theory. According to Sondang P Siagian there are two indicators of supervision namely direct supervision and indirect supervision. Data collection techniques are carried out through field research which includes observation, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data used is data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. By using a purposive technique with a total of 7 informants. The results showed that the implementation of supervision of village funds in Batumatoru Village was still not optimal. Due to lack of supervision in the implementation of the use of village funds, both directly and indirectly. This was heard by complaints from the public regarding the government's performance in implementing the use of village funds.
Latar Belakang: Ibu hamil terkonfirmasi Covid-19 pada tahun 2021 sebanyak 1,6%, bayi lahir mati 1,4%, kematian neonatalal 1,0%, prematuritas 33,7%. Kelompok ibu hamil, bersalin, nifas dan bayi baru lahir merupakan sasaran rentan terhadap infeksi Covid-19 dan risiko meningkatkan morbiditas dan mortalitas ibu dan bayi baru lahir. Tujuan penelitian: untuk mengetahui luaran persalinan ibu terkonfirmasi Covid-19. Metode: Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian deskriftif. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu bersalin bayi baru lahir pada ibu terkonfirmasi Covid-19 dan pasien dalam pemantauan (PDP) sejak bulan Juli 2020 sampai bulan April 2021 sejumlah 111. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara consecutive sampling dan diperoleh sampel sejumlah 84 sampel. Sedangkan luaran bayi baru lahir diperoleh 88 karena terdapat 4 orang ibu yang melahirkan dengan gemelli. Analisis dilakukan secara univariat. Hasil: persalinan pervaginam sebanyak 7 orang (8,34%), sectio sesarea 77 orang (91,66%), kehamilan berakhir umur kehamilan 37 minggu 8 orang (9,52%), 37-42 minggu 74 orang (88,10%) dan 42 minggu sebanyak 2 orang (2,38%). Sebanyak 4 orang neonatal lahir dengan gemelly sehingga neonatal sebanyak 88 orang dan hasil pemeriksaan swab antigen dinyatakan negative (100%), lahir dengan BB 4000gr 1 orang (1,14%), BB 2500-4000gr 72 orang (81,82%), BB 1000gr-2500gr sebanyak 15 orang (17,04%), terdapat 44 bayi (50%) mengalami asfiksia, kematian neonatal sebanyak 7 orang (8%). Kesimpulan: tidak terdapat kematian ibu yang terkonfirmasi Covid-19 dan PDP dalam proses persalinan serta terdapat kematian neonatal sebanyak 7 orang.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the increase in the ability to memorize the Qur'an Hadith through the SAVI learning model. This study uses classroom action research conducted in two cycles consisting of three stages, namely: design (planning), action (implementation) and reflection. The target of this study was class VIII students at State Madrasah Tsanawiyah 1 Meulaboh, West Aceh. The research subjects in this study were 30 students who took part in the Al-Hadith study. The research instrument used the Lesson Plans, observation sheets, interview sheets, student activity sheets, and non-test assessment sheets. The results showed that students' learning completeness during the pre-cycle of student mastery learning still reached 30%. While in the first cycle students 'learning completeness reached 43.33%, in the second cycle students' learning completeness reached 66.67%. So the classical increase of the pre-cycle conducted by the teacher and the second cycle conducted by the researcher was 36.67%.Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah ingin menganalisis peningkatan kemampuan menghafal Al-Qur'an Hadits melalui model pembelajaran SAVI. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan sebanyak dua siklus yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu: rancangan (perencanaan), tindakan (pelaksanaan) dan refleksi. Sasaran penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Meulaboh Aceh Barat. Subyek penelitian dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran Al-Qur'an Hadits. Instrumen penelitan menggunakan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pelajaran, lembar observasi, lembar wawancara, lembar kegiatan siswa, dan lembar penilaian non tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar siswa pada saat pra siklus ketuntasan belajar siswa masih mencapai 30%. Sedangkan pada siklus I ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 43,33%, pada siklus II ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 66,67%. Jadi peningkatan secara klasikal dari pra siklus yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siklus kedua yang dilakukan oleh peneliti sebanyak 36,67%. Dijelaskan oleh Mudasir (2010) bahwa hadits merupakan segala perkataan, perbuatan dan ketetapan Nabi Muhammad saw yang berkaitan dengan hukum syara' dan ketetapannya.Al-Qur'an Hadits merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang diajarkan di madrasah. Al-Qur'an Hadits merupakan pedoman utama bagi umat Islam dalam menjalani kehidupan di dunia. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya upaya pembelajaran bagi anak didik untuk mempelajari Al-Qur'an Hadits sehingga mereka memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang baik terhadap Al-Qur'an Hadits yang bertujuan sebagai dasar modal anak didik dalam menjalani kehidupan mereka kedepannya.
