Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggantian pakan komersial dengan ampas kecap ekstrusi dan ampas kecap fermentasi terhadap nilai ekonomis pada budidaya ayam pedaging. Materiyang digunakan yaitu 60 ekor day old chick(doc) dengan bobot badan rata-rata 42,8±1,4 gram/ekor.Perlakuan yang diterapkanyaitu pemberian pakan komersialtanpa penggantian ampas kecap ekstrusi dan ampas kecap fermentasi(kontrol; T-0); penggantian pakan komersial dengan ampas kecap ekstrusi sebanyak 5 % (T-1); penggantian pakan komersial dengan penggantian ampas kecap fermentasi sebanyak 5 %(T-2).Variabel yang diamati adalah nilai ekonomis pemeliharaan ayam pedaging yang meliputi konversi pakan, feed cost per gaindan income over feed cost.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggantian pakan komersial dengan ampas kecap ekstrusi dan ampas kecap fermentasi dapat menurunkan nilai konversipakan, dan nilai feed cost per gainserta dapat meningkatkan nilai Income over feed cost. Nilai konversipakan untuk masing-masing perlakuan yaitu 2,51(T-0), 2,27(T-1) dan2 , 3 2(T-2), nilai feed cost per gainsebesar Rp. 20.080,-(T-0), Rp. 17.473,33,-(T-1) dan Rp. 17.878,50,-/kg (T-2), dan nilai Income over feed cost sebesar Rp. 4.223,20,-(T-0), Rp. 6.897,85,-(T-1) dan Rp. 7.223,15,-/kg (T-2).Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah penggantian pakan komersial dengan ampas kecap ekstrusi dan ampas kecap fermentasi mampu menurunkan nilai konversi pakan, biaya pakan dan meningkatkan pendapatan pada usaha budidaya ayam pedaging.

Materi yang digunakan yaitu 60 ekor day old chick dengan bobot badan rata-rata 35±1,2 gram/ekor. Perlakuan yang diterapkan yaitu pemberian pakan komersial tanpa penggantian dengan kombinasi tepung daun mengkudu dan tepung daun pepaya (T-0); penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi Tepung Daun Mengkudu sebanyak 1,5 % dan Tepung Daun Pepaya sebanyak 0,5 % (T-1); penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi Tepung Daun Mengkudu sebanyak 1,0 % dan Tepung Daun Pepaya sebanyak 1,0 % (T-2); penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi Tepung Daun Mengkudu sebanyak 0,5 % dan Tepung Daun Pepaya sebanyak 1,5 % (T-3). Variabel yang diamati adalah konsumsi pakan, pertambahan bobot badan harian, dan konversi pakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi tepung daun mengkudu dan tepung daun pepaya dapat menurunkan konsumsi pakan, meningkatkan pertambahan bobot badan dan memberikan nilai konversi pakan yang lebih baik. Konsumsi pakan untuk masing-masing perlakuan yaitu 67,01 (T0), 61,81 (T1), 60,00 (T2) dan 64,38 g/ekor/hari (T3), pertambahan bobot badan yaitu 44,69 (T0), 48,69 (T1), 47,39 (T2) dan 51,08 g/ekor/hari (T3), sedangkan untuk nilai konversi pakan yaitu 1,51 (T-0), 2 ,28 ( T-1), 1,27 (T2) dan 1,26 (T-3). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu penggantian pakan komersial dengan kombinasi tepung daun mengkudu dan tepung daun pepaya mampu meningkatkan perormans ayam broiler. <p>The present study was aimed to evaluate the use of ‘Lumpur-bahinol’ (sludge of alcohol industry) as feed for sheep on feed intake, daily gain, and feed conversion ratio. Twelve indigenous rams grouped into three consist of four were used in this study following Completely Randomized Design. Those rams were 8-10 months old, and average weight at 17,15 kg. The rams were raised in individual barn and were fed Napier grass <em>ad libitum </em>and commercial concentrate feed at 2% of body weight. The treatments were substitution of concentrate feed with ‘lumpur-bahinol’ in the rations at various level as follow, K5L0 (concentrate 2% BW+lumpur-bahinol 0% BW), K4L1 (Concentrate 1.6% BW+Lumpur-bahinol 0.4% BW) and K3L2 (concentrate 1.2% BW+Lumpur-bahinol 0.8% BW). These rations were adjusted to fulfill dry matter requirement at 4% BW. The result showed that inclusion of lumpur-bahinol in the ration tend to decrease total DMI (P=0.1105), being 815 and 809 g/d for K4L1 and K3L2m, respectively, compared to K5L0 (890 g/d). Similar tendency was observed in crude protein intake (P=0.1105), being 104,94 dan 92 g/d for K5L0, K4L1 and K3L2, respectively, as well as in gross energy intake (P=0.0999), being 13.3; 11.4 and 10.5 Mj/d, for K5L0, K4L1 and K3L2, respectively. This phenomena was in contrast with the digestibility that tend to increase (P=0.1056) as much as 0.96% (K4L1) and 2.80% (K3L2), respectively, compared to K5L0 (62.97%). Despite of feed intake tended to decrease as increasing lumpur-bahinol in concentrate, but the daily gain tend to be higher (P=0.1171) in K4L1 (65 g/d) and K3L2 (56 g/d) compared to K5L0 (53 g/d). Similar tendency was shown in feed conversion of K4L1 (12.5) and K3L2 (14.5) that better than of K5L0 (16.8). The conclusion of this study was lumpur-bahinol could be used to compose concentrate feeding up to 0.8% of body weight.</p>
This research was conducted to to know influence of cuttlefish bone flour in ransum to feed consumption, average daily gain, and carcasse weight. The research use 60 day old chick of broilers which were devided into 4 treatments, that is 1) control treatment (T-0), broiler were given concentrate feed without addition of cuttlefish bone flour, 2) T-1, broiler were given concentrate feed with addition of cuttlefish bone flour as much as 1%, 3) T-2, broiler were given concentrate feed with addition of cuttlefish bone flour as much as 1.5%, and 4) T-3, broiler were given concentrate feed with addition of cuttlefish bone flour as much as 2%.The variables observed feed consumption, average daily gain, and carcasse weight. The result showed that feed consumption is 54.59 (T-0), 55.71 (T-1), 58.77 (T-2), 58.55 g/head/day (T-3), average daily gain is 38.8 (T-0), 41.5 (T-1), 40.6 (T-2) and 38.7 (g/head/day T-3), and carcasse weight 531.33 (T-0), 750.67 (T-1), 761.67 (T-2), 770.67 g/head/day (T-3). Research conclusion is addition of cuttlefish bone flour in ration not yet to improve feed consumption, and average daily gain, but can improve carcasse weight of broiler.Keywords : Broiler, carcasse, and cuttlefish bone flour.
The research was conducted to know influence of extruded and fermented soybean pulp in commercial feed in feed consumption, average daily gain and feed conversion. The research use 60 day old chick of broilers which were devided into 4 treatments, that is 1) were given commercial feed without substitution of extruded and fermented soybean pulp (T-0), 2) were given commercial feed with substitution of extruded soybean pulp as much as 5% (T-1), and 3) were given commercial feed with substitution of fermented soybean pulp as much as 5% (T-2). The variables observed feed consumption, average daily gain, and feed coversion. The result showed highly significant for feed consumption (P ≤ 0,01) but non significant for average daily gain and feed conversion (P ≥ 0,05) . Feed consumption is 128.08 (T-0), 106.23 (T-1), 58.77 (T-2), and 109.73 g/head/day (T-3); average daily gain is 51.95 (T-0), 46.90 (T-1), and 47.32 (T-2); feed conversion 2.51 (T-0), 2.27 (T-1), and 2.32 (T-2). Research conclusion is substtution of extruded and fermented soybean pulp in ration not yet to improve average daily gain and feed conversion, but can pressure of feed consumption.
