26Climate change is predicted to increase the aridity in the Mediterranean Basin and 27 severely affect forest productivity and composition. (P. latifolia). However, the results of this long-term study also suggest that the effect 47 of drought treatment has been dampened over time, probably due to a combination of 48 demographic compensation, morphological and physiological acclimation and 49 epigenetic changes. However, the structure of community (e.g. species composition, 50 3 dominance and stand density) may be reordered when a certain drought threshold is
Polypyrrole (PPy) encapsulated 3D flower-like NiO was prepared to investigate the role of PPy coating for high-performance electrodes. NiO@PPy showed a better electrochemical performance than pure NiO, and a "trade-off effect" between electrical conductivity and ion diffusion resistance was observed with different PPy coating thickness.
Lead‐free piezoelectric (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3–x wt% Bi2O3 ceramics have been synthesized by an ordinary sintering technique. The addition of Bi2O3 increases the melting point of the system and improves the sintering temperature of (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 ceramics. All samples show a pure perovskite phase with a typical orthorhombic symmetry when the Bi2O3 content <0.7 wt%. The phase transition temperature of orthorhombic–tetragonal (TO−T) and tetragonal–cubic (TC) slightly decreased when a small amount of Bi2O3 was added. The remnant polarization Pr increased and the coercive field Ec decreased with increasing addition of Bi2O3. The piezoelectric properties of (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 ceramics increased when a small amount of Bi2O3 was added. The optimum piezoelectric properties are d33=140 pC/N, kp=0.46, Qm=167, and TC=410°C for (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3–0.5 wt% Bi2O3 ceramics.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
