The process of delivering manufactured products to the hands of consumers, technically the product flow that occurs ie products in the form of finished goods will move from the factory warehouse to the consumer through a series of channels and distribution facilities. This distribution starts from the finished goods warehouse, distribution warehouse, retailer up to the wearer. The existence of various parties involved and coordinate in the flow of products from the factory to the consumer will form a system known as the supply chain system (Pujawan, 2010). Providers of fast products and services, the right time, and the desired conditions while still providing an optimal contribution to the company. Obstacles that are often encountered in the implementation of supply chain is the lack of coordination in terms of sharing information between the chain, thus causing distortion of information and trigger the occurrence of bullwhip effect that is a spike from the actual demand in the consumer level or downstream chain resulting in a very sharp spike at a far level from the upstream consumer or chain. The result of the bullwhip effect is the excess inventory, because demand is much smaller than the demand of the retailers, the unorganized production schedule, the unutilized production facilities optimally, because the production plan still has a high level of speculation. The use of information systems that have not been effective, causing the flow of information to be distorted or distorted, resulting in chaos in the flow of products that occur bullwhip effect and indirectly affect the cash flow of the company. The final result of the research is the application of Web-based Information Sharing System on the distribution channel that can be used efficiently and can provide information deviations that occur between the chains. The hope of stock monitoring results can be used as a control in looking at stock inventory in distributors and retail, so if there is a bullwhip effect, it will appear warning and immediately addressed by the distributor. Keywords: information sharing system, bullwhip effect, distortion of information.
This research was conducted to determine how much physical workload and mental workload received by employees at PT. Woneel Midas Leathers, especially in the Quality Control (QC) department in carrying out their work. This research is a descriptive study, using a sample of 40 female employees who are the entire population of QC workers at PT. Woneel Midas Leathers. Data collection includes filling out the NASA-TLX questionnaire for mental workload analysis, and using employee physical data to calculate Body Mass Index (BMI) and pulse data calculated using the %CVL (Cardiovascular) method for physical workload analysis. The results of the calculation of the physical workload calculated using the %CVL (Cardiovascullar) method with an average physical workload of 31.62 employees are included in the "Required Improvement" classification. The NASA-TLX classification value of the average employee WWL that has been obtained is 81.48. This shows that the average value of mental workload received by employees is in the "High" category. Based on the results of calculations using the statistical regression method using SPSS software, the Sig value is obtained. of 0.441 which indicates that between the two variables, namely the physical workload has no effect on the mental workload. Likewise, the ideal body weight does not affect the mental workload conditions received by each employee.
CV Master Multi Jaya is a company that produces dish soap, the problem being faced is that there aredefective products produced during the dish soap production process, therefore it is necessary to control qualityin the dish soap production process so that the production process no longer experiences product defects.Quality control that aims to reduce the level of disability by using one method, namely the Six Sigma methodwith DMAIC stages (difine, measure, analyze, improve, control) which can determine the characteristics ofdefective products. At the refine stage, what is done is determining the object to be studied, namely dish soapwith characteristic defects such as incomplete packaging, stickers/labels, and packaging. For the measure stage, the data used is primary data. From the calculation results, the DPMO (Defects per million opportunities) value is 396,000 with a total sigma value of 41.92 and an average of 3.81. At the analysis stage it is used to determine the percentage of product defects where the percentage of sticker product defects is 57.88% where the percentage of defects produced by stickers is greater than the incomplete Packaging and Packaging defects where the percentage is 26.35 for incomplete packaging and 15.77 for packaging. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the main cause of defects is the human factor, and based on the application of kaizen, the main line that must be applied by the company is stricter supervision or control in all fields.
