Abstract. The humidity sensing behavior of a ceramic oxide based on the ZnO 2 -TiO 2 -Ta 2 O 5 system was analyzed. Samples were uniaxially pressed and sintered at temperature range from 1000 to 1200 o C. Electrical impedance and capacitance measurements were realized in different values of relative humidity (from 11 to 100%). The microstructures of the sintered samples were characterized by X-ray diffractions and SEM observations. Mercury porosimetry analyses were carried out to determine the open porosity and the surface area was measured by using the BET nitrogen method. The obtained results were correlated and discussed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
