Etnografía, fotografía y educación tienen mucho en común cuando hablamos de infancia. El presente artículo tiene como objetivo reflexionar sobre posibles diálogos y conexiones entre estos tres elementos. La metodología para lograrlo combina una potente revisión bibliográfica, documentación visual y análisis de experiencias reales y actualizadas que impliquen a la infancia como participante activa de la investigación. Las conclusiones obtenidas defienden el lenguaje artístico y las narrativas visuales como parte efectiva de la investigación etnográfica. Focalizaremos de este modo en el papel de la infancia dentro del archivo visual fotográfico y su transición de objeto a sujeto de estudio capaz e impaciente por narrar su propia historia en primera persona.
Esta Investigación Educativa Basada en las Artes se ha desarrollado desde 2018 a 2022 en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Educación de la Universidad de A Coruña. Su participación ha implicado al profesorado en formación de los grados de Educación Infantil y Educación Primaria, así como al alumnado del Máster de Investigación e Innovación en Didácticas Específicas y del Máster en Profesorado de ESO y BACH de la especialidad de Artes Plásticas y Visuales. El objetivo principal ha sido trabajar el activismo medioambiental en la formación docente en defensa de la ecojusticia. Para ello, se han tenido en cuenta las diversas problemáticas derivadas del cambio climático y la explotación natural, así como los retos de la Agenda 2030 y sus implicaciones para la educación. Para desarrollar nuestra investigación, empleamos la metodología propia de las artes (Arts-Based Educational Research). En este caso, la creación artística y de obtención de datos visuales tiene lugar a través del videoarte y, más concretamente, del videopoema.
En él se relexiona sobre cómo la formación docente se convierte en un ámbito a explorar desde la búsqueda de las identidades educativas de las futuras maestras y maestros, a partir de sus inquietudes sobre su próxima incorporación a las aulas. En efecto, las páginas de este libro atesoran múltiples microacciones recogidas mediante imágenes y textos que se fusionan y entremezclan para dar lugar a una narrativa metafórica y singular. Nos invitan así a relexionar sobre la relación entre estudiantes, docentes y aulas. Estas miradas íntimas muestran una educación viva que late hacia una postura más empática, amable y sensible para aquellos que la habitan.Teniendo en cuenta que para la cultura occidental la muerte sigue siendo un tabú, la cual provoca tanto miedo que se emplean numerosos eufemismos para evitar nombrarla, la palabra Autopsia del título parece situarnos en un instante posterior a la vida. Sin embargo, etimológicamente este concepto no siempre ha estado ligado a la muerte. Proviene del griego α#τός -uno mismo-y #ψις -observar-, por lo que su signiicado literal es ver u observar por uno mismo. De hecho, las primeras autopsias de las que se tiene conocimiento están más ligadas al descubrimiento de la vida que a su in. Así lo demuestran datos históricos -quizá arropados por leyendas-como el hecho de que en el siglo XI a.C., en la antigua China, el último descendiente de la dinastía Yin solicitase la autopsia de varios de sus allegados para demostrar la supuesta existencia en los "hombres superiores" de siete oriicios en el corazón. Incluso la investigación anatómica tuvo prohibida la realización de autopsias durante siglos ante la duda de si existía el alma y, de ser así, si esta podría dañarse durante la intervención. En 1533, la primera autopsia en América (autorizada por la iglesia), se realizó a dos siamesas para constatar si contaban con uno o dos corazones y si poseían una o dos almas. Los artistas clásicos también se han servido de autopsias reales con una inalidad meramente estética. Así lo demuestran los tratados de Da Vinci o Miguel Ángel,
