O presente texto tem por objetivo apresentar os impactos e repercussões da participação de idosos no projeto de extensão intitulado Navegantes, que visou incluí-los no mundo digital. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, qualitativo, com onze entrevistados com idade entre 61 e 83 anos, desenvolvido no período de abril a dezembro de 2019. Para a coleta dos dados, foram aplicados questionários e a técnica de grupo focal. Constatou-se que há fatores inibidores à inclusão desses idosos no mundo digital, mas também que há, por parte desses sujeitos, a percepção de necessidade de uso de tecnologias. Conclui-se, portanto, que os participantes da pesquisa demonstram satisfação em relação ao mundo digital, principalmente no que concerne aos seus benefícios, porém eles ainda não se veem como proficientes em relação ao uso das ferramentas tecnológicas.
RESUMOA pandemia da Covid-19 trouxe grandes desafios para diversas áreas, como política, economia e educação. Os altos índices de contágios e mortes causados por essa doença, assim como os efeitos relacionados à saúde mental dos indivíduos, causaram impactos em toda a sociedade. Na educação, a crise afetou o ensino em todos os níveis. Alunos e professores têm vivenciado um cenário desafiador, devido à adaptação do ensino tradicional para o ensino remoto emergencial. Assim, este estudo teve como objetivo conhecer as limitações que um grupo específico de docentes enfrentou durante esse processo, investigando as principais dificuldades relacionadas às mudanças no trabalho docente e se isto afetou a saúde mental de cada um deles. Para isso, foi conduzido um questionário para coleta de dados, respondido por professores que atenderam a critérios específicos de inclusão, como: ser professor de Computação e áreas afins, lecionar no Ensino Superior, atuar no Nordeste do Brasil e estar ministrando aulas remotas durante o semestre suplementar excepcional, implementado por suas instituições de ensino. A região Nordeste foi escolhida devido às limitações de infraestrutura e investimento governamental, que podem ter sido agravadas com o surgimento da Covid-19. Os resultados apontaram desafios relacionados não apenas ao planejamento do trabalho remoto, mas também ao aumento da quantidade de trabalho e estresse vivenciados.
ResumoTrabalhar com metodologias e tecnologias para Educação é algo que pode ser feito em qualquer área, espaço e nível de aprendizagem. Este artigo, portanto, apresenta uma demonstração do Google Sites como ferramenta para a criação de um repositório de conteúdo online realizada no contexto do ensino superior. Esta estratégia pedagógica foi desenvolvida no âmbito do projeto "Navegantes 2: Protagonismo na criação de apps e jogos educativos para a transformação social" por docentes, futuros professores de Física e graduandos do curso de Engenharia da Computação, do Instituto Federal da Paraíba -IFPB, entre os meses de dezembro de 2018 e julho de 2019. A metodologia utilizada, de abordagem qualitativa, envolveu o estudo da citada ferramenta da Google e sua aplicação através do desenvolvimento do site do NITE -Núcleo de Inovação e Tecnologias Educacionais. Sabe-se que a autoformação docente e a busca por novas formas de aprendizagem em sala de aula são movimentos já iniciados no Brasil. Dessa forma, quando decidimos pelo nome e escopo do núcleo tínhamos em mente que o que produzíssemos deveria mais do que contribuir para a academia e pesquisadores, servir também, para quem está no dia a dia da sala de aula, ou seja, na prática do ensino e da aprendizagem. Em nosso grupo contamos com pesquisadores, professores e alunos de licenciatura e graduação, que, em conjunto, buscam colaborar para que haja uma educação de qualidade para todos. Neste sentido, a partir desta iniciativa, espera-se contribuir para que os estudantes e professores, em exercício ou ainda sem experiência, possam organizar metodologias ativas de ensino que façam sentido para todos os alunos.
