AbstractStudies on the access and permanence of people with physical disabilities and / or reduced mobility have pointed out the need for architectural adequacy regarding physical accessibility barriers in addition to breaking attitudinal barriers. The research aimed to identify the demands of the academic community regarding the inclusion of people with physical disabilities and / or reduced mobility in higher education. This is a descriptive exploratory study with a quantitative approach. After the data treatment and analysis, a flowchart of reception and didactic pedagogical follow-up was developed, in which the Nucleus of Didactic-Pedagogical Support Psychosocial, Inclusion and Accessibility has a central role and communicates with all involved. It is considered that the study made it possible to know that there are people with disabilities who do not identify themselves, and also how the researched HEI faculty acts and thinks in relation to Special Educational Needs. It is suggested to train all the professionals involved, so that they can actively participate in the inclusive education process. Keywords: Disabled Persons. Education Higher.
