Objective: to analyze YouTube videos about self-care during the exchange of ostomy bags. Methods: quantitative, descriptive research, carried out on Google. Descriptive statistics and the Kruskal-Wallis test were used. Results: of the 32 videos analyzed, 15 addressed the exchange of the one-piece bag and 20, the exchange of two, of these, three presented both bags. The items less performed when exchanging bags for one (73.0%) and two (95.0%) were related for proper collection from the collector. As for the association between who conducted the videos of one and two pieces and the number of hits and errors, there weren´t significant differences (p=0.896; p=0.953). Conclusion: the videos didn´t include all the elements about self-care during the exchange of ostomy bags, especially with regard to the adequate removal of the collector; however, they provided general information about the exchange of the bag and which can assist in the self-care of this people.
Objective: To identify and map learning needs and educational strategies for adult patients in the preoperative period of myocardial revascularization. Materials and method: Scoping review conducted between March and April 2021 in national and international databases to identify records published in scientific journals and gray literature, without period. Results: The selected sample consisted of 35 records, composed mostly of articles (32; 91.42 %) published from 1990 to 2021. The learning needs of patients before surgery were categorized into cardiovascular system and coronary artery disease; procedures and routines before, during, and after surgery. In addition, several educational strategies implemented in the studies were identified. Conclusions: The learning needs identified can contribute to planning and implementing patient-centered educational strategies before surgery.
Objetivo: sintetizar como informações atuais sobre o impacto do COVID-19 na saúde das crianças no Brasil. Método: estudo descritivo, tipo informativo, sem revisão ou tema de modo a responder: Qual é a magnitude desta pandemia? Quais são as características do COVID-19 em crianças? Quais medidas para reduzir o impacto? Resultados:no Brasil, até 26 de junho de 2020, 74.438 casos confirmados e 373 óbitos entre crianças e adolescentes. Os estados com mais mortes foram: São Paulo, Amazonas e Pará. Os sintomas que diferem das infecções respiratórias habituais são: dor de cabeça, perda de paladar e / ou olfato. Como medidas para reduzir os danos causados: distanciamento social, acesso a serviços de saúde, água potável, moradia, alimentação, vacinação, disponibilização de auxílio financeiro e informação. Conclusão: conclui-se que a saúde das crianças será influenciada durante e após uma pandemia, cujo impacto poderá ser minimizado pelo planejamento de ações de saúde pública.
