«Inquiery process » – investigative work – constitutes one of the procedures used by secondary schools sciences teachers (grade 7 to grade 12). A description of this process is to be found in the National Curricul which underlines more particulary its structuring on problematic situations. In didactic litterature, references alluded to are socioconstructivists, as far as epistemology and pedagogy are concerned. This research analyses trainee teachers or experimented teachers classical teaching sessions. It highlights the differences in the procedures. Gaps and tensions against the requirements of the institutionns may be sometimes spotted. Meetings oranised with teachers have led to debates and discussions.
