rules and techniques of therapy multifamily therapy domestic violence Summary: The aim of this article is to familiarize the reader with the model of the multifamily therapy used in working with families with the problem of domestic violence. The inspiration to write this text was the authors' involvement in the European project EU's Daphne iii: Multi-Family Pack Training for Professionals Working with Abusive and Violent high risk Families (MFT-V), aimed at developing the manual and training materials for professionals engaged in family therapy, for families in which violence against children was identified. The project used the experiences of multifamily therapy at Marlborough Family Center in London, the Center that for many decades creatively develops this concept of therapy and has particular experience in conducting complex interactions to families with the problem of violence. The Marlborough Family Center model, which is based on systemic therapy and psychodynamic group therapy approach, is the use of psychotherapy sessions in groups consisting of parents and children. During this psychotherapy sessions multiple techniques, including workshop techniques are used to facilitate difficult problems in family relationships. The experiences of the London team, due to its originality, may be found interesting by therapeutic teams, not only those facing the problem of violence in the family.
