INTRODUCTION Indonesia contributes over 61 million smokers to global tobacco users, and the smoking prevalence is increasing among young people. In October 2017, Bogor city started the ban on tobacco displays at point-of-sale (POS), starting with modern cigarette retailers. This study aims to assess compliance with the ban and the visibility of POS with tobacco displays around educational facilities. METHODS We included 266 modern retailers surveyed throughout the city during November and December 2017. Compliance indicators included no tobacco product displays, advertisements, promotions, and sponsorship. We conducted spatial and quantitative analyses in ArcMap 10.6 and Stata 15.1, respectively. RESULTS Immediately following the ban, the compliance with all four criteria was high (83%). However, POS in areas with higher population density and poverty rates had significantly lower compliance. We also found that the ban reduced the visibility of tobacco displays around schools and universities. CONCLUSIONS Compliance with the ban was high, which helped to reduce the visibility of tobacco displays around educational facilities.

ABSTRAKAnak dengan disabilitas intelektual (DI) merupakan kelompok anak yang memiliki keterbatasan intelektual, kemampuan adaptif, kemampuan sosial dan kemampuan berakti tas (praktis). Pelatihan menggosok gigi dengan pendekatan Program Pembelajaran Individual (PPI) merupakan salah satu strategi yang menitik beratkan kondisi dan motivasi masing-masing siswa didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pen garuh pelatihan cara menggosok gigi melalui pendekatan Program Pembelajaran Individual (PPI) terhadap status kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kuasi eksperimental dengan desain subyek tunggal (single subyek design). Responden dalam penelitian ini yaitu 3 orang (R1, R2, R3) diambil sesuai kriteria yang sudah ditentukan. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi. Meskin (1972). Analisis datanya menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan setelah dilakukan pelatihan menggosok gigi selama 6 minggu didapatkan adanya penurunan skor plak yang rendah. Status kebersihan gigi dan mulut ke-3 responden didapatkan R1 dan R2 pada kategori sedang, sedangkan R3 pada kategori buruk. Pelatihan cara menggosok gigi menggunakan pendekatan Program Pembelajaran Individual (PPI) berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan status kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Martens and Meskin (1972). Pada masa kehamilan, rongga mulut mudah mengalami peradangan karena adanya perubahan hormonal yang menyebabkan gingiva menjadi sensitif bila kesehatan mulut tidak terjaga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut ibu hamil di Puskesmas Kabupaten Kupang. Penelitian observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional dilakukan dengan mengambil subyek penelitian 97 ibu hamil. Variabel bebas terdiri dari pengetahuan, sikap, dan kebiasaan menginang sedangkan variabel terikat terdiri dari perilaku pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut ibu hamil. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disusun dengan metode Likert untuk mengukur variabel sikap dan perilaku pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut ibu hamil. Kuesioner dengan dua pilihan (benar atau tidak benar) untuk mengukur variabel pengetahuan serta kuesioner pilihan ganda untuk mengukur variabel kebiasaan menginang. Kuesioner tersebut telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitas. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi product moment dan regresi berganda pada tingkat signifikan α< 0,05. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan variabel pengetahuan, sikap, dan kebiasaan menginang, berkolerasi secara signifikan dengan perilaku pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut (F = 21,890, p= 0,000). Ketiga variabel tersebut secara bersama – sama memberikan kontribusi sebesar 41,6%. Pengetahuan memberikan pengaruh paling besar terhadap perilaku pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut. Semakin baik pengetahuan dan sikap terhadap pemeliharaan kebersihan gigi dan mulut, dan semakin kurang frekuensi menginang, semakin baik frekuensi kebersihan gigi dan mulut ibu hamil.Factors Affecting Oral And Dental Hygiene Maintaining Behaviour Of The Pregnant Women In Public Health Centre Of Kupang Regency. During pregnancy, woman’s oral cavity becomes inflamed easily due to hormonal changes so that gingiva becomes sensitive if the oral hygiene is not well maintained. The purpose of this study is to examine factors that influence the oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior of pregnant women at Public Health Centre of Kupang Regency. An observational analytical study with cross sectional design was conducted on 97 pregnant women as the subject research. Independent variables were knowledge, attitude and betel chewing habit, and dependant variables were oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior of pregnant women. Variables of attitude, oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior of the pregnant women was assed using questionnaire with Likert Scale method. Questionnaire with two options (true and false) was used to measure knowledge variable, and multiple choice questionnaires were used to measure betel chewing habitvariable. Questionnaire was tested its validity and reliability. The data were analyzed using the multiple regression analysis at the significant rate α< 0,05. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that knowledge, attitude and betel chewing habit correlated very significantly on oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior (F = 22.052, p = 0.000.), and those three variables gave collectively contributionof 41.6% on oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior, while betel chewing habit correlated negatively on oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior. Knowledge variable gave the greatest contribution on the oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior. The better knowledge and attitude on oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior and the less frequent betel chewing habit were, the better the oral and dental hygiene maintaining behavior will be.

ABSTRAKPendidikan Jasmani khususnya untuk peningkatan kesegaran jasmani jasmani , dalam aktivitas kegiatannya menerapkan Konservatif Games in Aquatic, sebagai solusi dari kegiatan Pendidikan Jasmani dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Produk yang dihasilkan juga menjadi referensi tambahan bagi guru Pendidikan Jasmani Sekolah Dasar. Pembelajaran menjadi lebih bervariasi dengan menggunakan produk yang dihasilkan ini. Dalam Riset diperoleh hasil untuk ranah kognitif siswa 65% katagori Baik Sedangkan untuk ranah afektif diperoleh hasil 73% kategori Baik, penilaian untuk ranah afektif berdasarkan sikap siswa saat pelaksanaan model permainan, hal ini terlihat dari sikap siswa dalam permainan. The objective of the study was to determine the effect of the science comic based character education on understanding the concept and students’ environmental caring attitude to the material of global warming. Type research true experimental design with posttest-only control design. The research population was the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique consist of class VII H a control class and class VII G an experiment class. The result of the research showed that the study of the students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid on global warming material reaches completeness equal to 71.42%. The attitude of environmental care of students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid after using science comic media on global warming material is in the category of very care and care. The implementation of science learning of global warming material of students of Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid is done well by 95%. This is supported by the responses of teachers and students who respond well to learning using the science-based science comic media character applied to global warming materials. Based on the results of the study concluded that learning using science comic media based on character education applied to global warming material positively influence the understanding of concept and attitude of environment care of students SMP Negeri 1 Mungkid.

Figs (Ficus spp.) has important roles in an ecosystem, for instance as food source for frugivorous, especially birds. The aims of this study were to determine species richness of bird that commonly visited Ficus trees in Ungaran mountain area and analyze their behaviour in dietary among fig visitors. This study used observatory method. Based on preliminary observation, we determined eight species of Ficus tree as samples to be observed according to fruit size and its availability during study. Observations were conducted at 6 - 10 am and 3 - 5 pm. Based on the results, we found 29 species of birds from 16 families and one mammal species who visited Fig trees. The observations showed four different bird activities: only perched, eating fig, eating insects, and eating fruit and insects. Ordination analysis resulted that inter-specific interactions among figs frugivorous tend to use niche partitioning mechanism based on different arrival time and canopy position. This mechanism minimizes the occurrence of competition in obtaining similar resources.

The results of the Biology teacher's interview at SMA Negeri 1 Petarukan shows that learning material for environmental change is carried out using varied lectures. The learning makes students less active in learning, so that student learning outcomes are low. This is indicated by the completeness of student learning outcomes in the two classes that are taught using varied lectures are 45% and 50% respectively. Learning about environmental change material that has been carried out has not linked the material to environmental care. One learning model that can be applied to improve learning outcomes and environmental care attitudes is problem based learning (PBL). This study aims to determine the effect of the application of PBL learning material on environmental changes to learning outcomes and environmental care attitudes. This research is a Quasi-Experimental Design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study is class X MIPA 1 (experiment) and X MIPA 2 (control) which is taken using objective sampling technique. The results of the t-test show that t-count = 3.28 > t-table (df = 68) = 1.99 means that the learning outcomes of the experimental class on environmental change material are higher than the control class. The N-gain test results show that the experimental class obtains the N-gain category with high criteria, while the control class obtained the N-gain category with moderate criteria. The classical completeness of learning outcomes in the experimental class is 91.1% while the control class is 75%. PBL learning can also foster an attitude of caring for the students as indicated by the results of the environmental care questionnaire obtaining very good criteria. Based on the results of the study it is concluded that learning material changes in the environment of the PBL model had a significant effect on student learning outcomes in SMAN 1 Petarukan.
