Darstellung, thermischer Abbau und Phasenumwandlung der Strontiumpolysulfide SrS2, SrS3A und SrS3B werden beschrieben. Ferner werden die IR‐ und Ramanspektren (600–50 cm−1) der Strontiumpolysulfide sowie die Schwingungsformen der Gitterschwingungen mitgeteilt und im Vergleich mit den entsprechenden Bariumverbindungen diskutiert. Nach den Schwingungsspektren liegen im SrS3A wie im SrS3B S32−‐Baueinheiten vor.
