People have the right to get good public services and can also participate in the supervision of it. Community rights in public services can be included in learning materials in schools. Knowledge about public service supervision for high school Civic Education teachers has not been maximized enough. The teachers should be at the forefront of socializing these rights by integrating them into Civics subject matter in Senior High School or Vocational High School (SMK). This study aimed to develop an e-book on public service supervision to increase high school and vocational high school teachers' knowledge. The research method was R&D (research and development) using Borgg and Gall theory. The study analyzed the need for enrichment book references for teachers to increase their knowledge about public service supervision. The results showed that the experts gave a good and proper assessment of this enrichment book. The effectiveness test showed that this enrichment book effectively increased the knowledge of Civic Education teachers on public services supervision. The benefit of this e-book is giving proper knowledge to Civic Education teachers in Senior High School (SMA) or Vocational High School (SMK) regarding the supervision of public services so that their knowledge can be increased.
Democracy as a government system in Indonesia is certainly closely related to the General Election. Participating in the implementation of a democratic system is a form of participation as citizens. Any activity that relates to participation in politics can be manifested in various forms. A beginner voter is a person who firstly participates in general election activities whether it is in the legislative election, presidential election, and local leader elections. Beginner voters become parties that must be considered or must be really paid attention to because they influence decision making. Beginners voters are also parties who have dynamic personal characteristics, which will influence their forms of political participation. The purpose of this study was to explore forms of political participation of beginner voters in general elections. Researcher used a qualitative approach and descriptive qualitative as the data analysis technique. The data which were used in this research were primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the forms of political participation of beginner voters in the general election were voting, joinning campaign activities, participating in political discussion, understanding various political and social issues by following political news both internally and externally through the mass media, obeying the government, accepting, and implementing government decisions, submitting criticisms, and making improvements to rectify policies.
This study aims to examine how the concept of citizen participation in realizing gender equality. The method used in this research was a literature study. The results of the study show that citizen participation in realizing gender equality is very important, participating in the education sector by seeking to create educational institutions that produce future leaders who do not discriminate against gender nor have a gender justice perspective. Citizens can participate in encouraging social inclusion in the classroom when learning process takes place, designing inclusive and gender sensitive-curricula as well as providing equal opportunities for men and women. Citizen participation in the field of development to realize gender equality can be carried out by planning and making development policies and implementing policies that provide equal opportunities without any gender discrimination. This research concludes that realizing the gender equality as a form of citizen rights requires participation of all citizens in various forms both in the fields of education and development.

Untuk itu sangat menarik mengkaji lebih dalam mengenai civic engagement siswa dalam menghadapi pandemi covid 19 di SMK Telkom Purwokerto yang juga sebagai sekolah yang terdampak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui Bagaimana bentuk civic engagement siswa SMK Telkom Purwokerto. Informan penelitian ini adalah siswa dan guru SMK Telkom Purwokerto. Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi serta studi literatur digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Data dianalisis dengan mereduksi data, kemudian penyajian data, verifikasi serta penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas data penelitian menggunakan trianggulasi sumber dan waktu. Hasil penelitian adalah adanya civic engagement siswa SMK Telkom Purwokerto di masa pandemi covid 19 yaitu civic engagement secara individu dan kolektif atau dalam sebauah komunitas. Simpulan penelitian adalah bentuk civic engagement siswa SMK Telkom dimasa pandemi civid 19 dilakukan dengan berbagai macam bentuk kegiatan baik kegiatan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah.
