Bu çalışmada, harmanlanmış öğrenme ortamının öğretmen adaylarının başarısına ve güdülenmelerine etkisinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada, yarı-deneysel desen kapsamına giren "ön test-son test eşleştirilmiş kontrol gruplu desen" kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, 2012 -2013 öğretim yılı bahar yarıyılında, Siirt Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Đlköğretim Anabilim Dalı Matematik Öğretmenliği ile Sosyal Bilgiler Öğretmenliğinde okuyan 158 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deneysel çalışmada kullanılan "Đnsan Đlişkileri ve Đletişim" dersi, matematik öğretmenliği dalı dördüncü sınıf ve sosyal bilgiler öğretmenliği dalı üçüncü sınıflarında okutulduğu için bu iki bölüm çalışmaya dâhil edilmiş olup deney ve kontrol grupları kendi içlerinde rastgele belirlenmiştir. Veri toplama işlemlerine katılmayan, internet üzerindeki etkinlikleri düzenli takip etmeyen veya devamsız olan deney grubu öğrencilerinden toplam 10 öğrenci, veri analizine dâhil edilmemiştir. Kontrol grubu öğrencilerinden devamsız olan 5 öğrenci ve ölçekleri düzgün doldurmayan 8 öğrenci çalışmaya dâhil edilmemiştir. Buna göre matematik deney grubunda 38, matematik kontrol grubunda 38, sosyal deney grubunda 41 ve sosyal kontrol grubunda 41 olmak üzere 158 öğrenci çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Veri toplama araçları olarak; "Đnsan Đlişkileri ve Đletişim" dersi başarı testi, Pintrich, Smith, Garcia ve McKeachie'nin (1991) Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) adıyla geliştirilen ve Büyüköztürk ve diğerleri (2004: 219-227) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlama çalışması yapılan Güdülenme Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. "Đnsan Đlişkileri ve Đletişim" dersi akademik başarı testinin KR-20 güvenirlik katsayısı 0,913 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Uygulama toplam 10 hafta sürmüştür. Deney grubunda dersler harmanlanmış öğrenme yaklaşımına uygun olarak hem yüz-yüze ortamda hem de internet ortamında sunulmuştur. Harmanlanmış öğrenmenin çevrimiçi boyutunu oluşturmak üzere bir Öğrenme Yönetim Sistemi (ÖYS) olan Moodle kullanılmıştır. Kontrol gruplarında ise sınıf ortamında geleneksel öğretimle dersler işlenmiştir. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız örneklem t-testi, eşleştirilmiş örneklem t-testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) testleri kullanılmıştır. Veriler bilgisayar ortamında SPSS paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda; "Đnsan Đlişkileri ve Đletişim" dersi başarı testi son test puan ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında matematik deney ve kontrol gruplarında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir farklılık çıkmasına karşın sosyal deney ve kontrol grupları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık çıkmamıştır. Uygulama sonrası her iki deney ve kontrol gruplarında yer alan öğrencilerin akademik başarı testi son test puan ortalamaları karşılaştırıldığında matematik deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir fark olduğu saptanmıştır. This study was conducted to demonstrate the effect of the layered curriculum on the academic achievement of the 9th grade students in English lesson. Based on quantitative research method, pretest-posttest matched with control group pattern, one of the quasi-experimental designs, was used in the study. The study group consisted of 67 ninth grade students stdying at Atatürk Anatolian High School, in the city center of Siirt, during 2016-2017 academic year. The applications to be conducted within the scope of the layered curriculum were prepared according to the unit-Seven Wonders. After the unit, in which the activities of the layered currciulum were going to be carried out was determined, an academic achievement test based on the learning outcomes of the unit was formed. After carrying out the reliability and validity procedures, the academic achievement test was conducted to the experimental and control groups as pretest and posttest. Following the pretest, the students in the experimental group did the activities having been prepared according to the layered curriculum for 6 weeks. The students in the control group, on the other hand, did the activities in their textbooks. At the end of the experimental process, both the experimental and the control group were required to take the academic achievement test as posttest.

ÖzBu çalışma, öğretmenlerin sınıf içi demokratik davranışlarını çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada genel tarama modeli benimsenmiştir. Araştırma 2012 yılında Siirt il merkezindeki bulunan 9 ortaokul ve 10 lisede görev yapan 251 öğretmen ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin sınıf içi demokratik davranışlarını belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacılar tarafından beşli olarak derecelendirilmiş likert tipinde bir ölçek geliştirilmiştir. Yapılan açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucu varyansın %30'nu açıklayan 16 maddeden oluşan tek boyutlu bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Ölçeğin Cronbach Alfa katsayısı .837 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Araştırmada, ortalamaları karşılaştırmak için Kruskal Wallis Testi ve Mann-Whitney U Testi kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin analizleri sonucunda öğretmenlerin sınıf içi demokratik davranışları ile ilgili algılarına ait puanların ortalaması oldukça yüksek bir düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin sınıf içi demokratik davranışlarına yönelik algılarının cinsiyet, kıdem, öğretmenlerin görev yaptıkları alan ve okul türüne (ortaokul, lise) göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde farklılaşmadığı belirlenmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler: Demokratik Öğretmen Davranışları, Demokratik Değerler, Sınıf Yönetimi. AbstractThis study was carried out to examine teachers' democratic behaviours in the classroom according to various variables. A general survey model was adopted in the study. The study was conducted to 251 teachers from 9 secondary schools and 10 high schools in the city center of Siirt in 2012. In order to determine the democratic behaviour of teachers in the classroom, a 5 point likert-type scale was developed by the researchers. In the exploratory factor analysis, a one-dimensional structure consisting of 16 items that showed 30% of the variance was obtained. Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of the scale was evaluated as .837. Kruskal-Wallis test and Mann-Whitney U test were applied to compare the averages of the research. As a result of the data analysis, it was determined that scores of the democratic behaviour of the teachers in the classroom were fairly high. Also, it was determined that the democratic behaviours of teachers in the classroom statistically weren't significantly different in terms of gender, seniority, and the school type (secondary school, high school).

This study was conducted to analyze whether there was a significant difference among secondary school students' tendencies about lifelong learning in terms of gender and grade variables. The participants were 466 students studying at different high schools in the central province of Siirt at 9 th , 10 th and 11 th grades, who were chosen randomly. 'Lifelong Learning Tendencies Scale' created by Coskun (2009) which has 27 items in it was used to gather related data. Frequency, mean and Mann-Whitney U test were used to evaluate the data. The results of the study showed that the participants' motivation and persistence levels were high in terms of lifelong learning tendency, however lack of interest and organization of learning subcomponents appeared to be at medium level according to student answers. Generally speaking, lifelong learning tendencies of high school students were at medium level. There was a statistically significant difference for the girls as for lifelong learning tendency but there was not such a difference among the students according to class grade variable.
