Abstract:Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present a model for integrating Lean Principles with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. Design/methodology: To achieve the objective of the study, the methodology used in this study is based on preliminary literature review of ISO 14001 standards and Lean Principles as well as certain case reports from various proponents and authors of ISO 14001 and Lean as noted in various articles and journals and some books.
Findings: The findings of this study are a new model called Lean Environmental ManagementIntegration System (LEMIS) has been developed and leads to the creation of these measurement standards for evaluating the organization, making its environmental efforts more realistic, focused and attainable. specify these performance measures making the standard achieve sustainability and continual improvement.Originality/value: This study presents a unique approach of integrating the two main models, namely Lean Principles and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, as a single framework benefiting contemporary organizations.
An enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is an integrated software solution, The very fact that about 60-70% of all ERP implementations in organizations around the world end up in a failure or meet their end prematurely calls for a serious look into the factors leading to such results of implementing a powerful integrating tool such as an ERP system, Literature review also shows that the AHP is the preeminent slant among the various methodologies applied to ERP projects in the past for prioritizing the attributes. Hence, in this paper we have applied the analytical hierarchy process (AHP) to Factors affecting ERP implementation. The model is based on the analysis of quality issues that affect a implementation process. To understand some criticalities of the model, a survey based on Analytic Hierarchy Process was carried out. Two sets of expert were selected i.e. End user and Third party vendor. On the basis of the results obtained, the epitome of findings is discussed.

But in recent the production only from south India not enough to satisfy the need of all, such a huge demand is there. The better production comes from the selection of good seeds. Up to now formers depend on two factors for selecting better seeds, One is the brand which is approved by some quality standards and second one is analyzed manually by experienced people. Both are risky one, we are not pretty much sure the accuracy of analyze. The second one is seeing and feeling. The inspection is not consistent also very time consuming. In the other way we can use computer vision technology to analyze the quality of the seeds. In recent years many of the big industries they are using computer vision technology with Digital Image Processing for many of the applications. In this Paper we are going to discuss the different seed quality analyzing methods and accuracy of result also. Moreover there are different factors and features are there for it, here we are going to study about varietal purity estimation by different methods.
