Employee who has a big commitment to the company will increase the productivity and goal achievement of the company itself. This research is aimed to know the influence of organizational culture toward affective commitment, continuity commitment, and normative commitment in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara XIV. The subject of this research are 84 employees that chosen by Cluster Sampling Technique. This research used Simple Regressive Linear Test. The research result showed that there was positive influence of organizational culture toward affective commitment (p=0,000, Rsquare=0,269), there was no negative influence of organizational culture toward continuity commitment (p=0,000, Rsquare=0,168), and there was any positive influence of organizational culture toward normative commitment (p=0,000, Rsquare=0241). This research may have a benefit for the company making the employee owns the responsibility to implement the important aspects of organizational culture
Interest assessment is required to help people explore their interests and liking, especially for people who find it difficult to determine their interest in particular things. Interest assessment is crucial for career exploration. This study aims to develop an inventory for interest assessment based on the Spherical Model of Interest. This study begins with a qualitative process, namely peer review and content validity, that involve five experts. There were 535 participants in this study, consisting of between 16 -23 years. Quantitative analysis in this study using the JASP program. This study showed that the inventory has excellent and acceptable psychometric properties. The discrimination index of this inventory showed 0,420 -0,842, the Goodness of fit criteria showed that CFI, TLI, GFI, and RMSEA with good and acceptable. This inventory has a good reliability coefficient of 0,778 -0,907. This inventory has acceptable psychometric properties to use as an interest assessment tool.
The relationship between flow and performance of employees is the focus of research. The research subject is employees who have worked for more than one year at the headquarters of PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar and they are in class positions 10 to 16, about as 149 employees. The researcher used accidental sampling, with the number of respondents as many as 63 employees. The Work-Related Flow Inventory measured the data of employee flow, and employee performance obtained from the Employee Performance Assessment. Data were analyzed using the Spearman correlation. The result showed that the magnitude of the relationship between variables is r = 0.260, with a significance value of p = 0.039 <0.05. This article shows that there is a significant positive relationship between the flow and performance of employees of the central office of PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar, so it can decide that the more the frequency of flow felt then the optimal performance of employees of the Central Office PT. Pelindo IV (Persero) Makassar. Based on the result, the employee who wants his performance still optimal should develop a positive work through feeling the flow. It does with a focus, enjoy, dan making intrinsic motivation on the activities at work. Then they can achieve the job satisfaction attached.
Individu dengan sensation seeking yang tinggi akan membutuhkan stimulus lebih sehingga berpotensi melakukan perilaku yang berisiko dan mencari pengalaman baru, tantangan, sensasi, serta variasi lain yang tinggi dalam hidupnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara sensation seeking dengan risk taking behavior individu pada pengemudi mobil yang melakukan balapan liar di Makassar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif korelasional dengan jumlah subjek sebanyak 116 orang yang bergabung dalam komunitas mobil. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Spearman Rank Correlation. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan sensational seeking dengan risk taking behavior (p=0,037 & r=0,194). Artinya terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara sensational seeking dengan risk taking behavior pada pengemudi mobil yang melakukan balapan liar di kota Makassar. Hasil Penelitian ini ditujukan kepada pengemudi mobil di kota Makassar sebagai informasi mengenai dampak buruk dari perilaku mengambil risiko balap liar agar meminimalisir angka kecelakan lalu lintas.
Traffic jams that occur on the highway becomes an obstacle and problems for motorists who are driving and cause drivers to behave aggressively. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between driving stress caused by traffic jams and aggressive driving. The subjects in this study amounted to 143 students of the Faculty of Psychology, State University of Makassar in the second to eighth semesters who drive a motorized vehicle every day when they go to campus. The sampling technique in this research is accidental sampling, which is a non-probability sampling technique. The method used in this study is a quantitative method by using a traffic jam questionnaire and measuring a driving stress scale and an aggressive driving scale. The data analysis technique used in this research is Spearman Rho. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that there was a significant positive relationship between driving stress due to traffic jams and aggressive driving. The higher the stress of driving due to traffic jams, the higher the aggressive driving. The results of the study can be used by the government as a reference in formulating programs and policies regarding the importance of mental health in driving, as well as for further researchers to develop this research using different and more varied demographic variables.
Masalah kelompok saat ini tampaknya cukup menarik perhatian. Banyak pelajar belajar secara berkelompok. Hal demikian menggembirakan karena belajar secara berkelompok akan banyak manfaatnya. Masing-masing pelajar dapat menerima dan memberi pengetahuan yang dimilikinya, sehingga pengetahuan mereka akan bertambah. Pada saat ini ada pula kejadian-kejadian yang dilakukan secara berkelompok dan mengakibatkan hal-hal yang tidak menguntungkan. Kelompok A bentrok dengan kelompok B dan mengakibatkan kerugian, baik nyawa maupun materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika kelompok, kelompok karate yang ada dimakassar. kelompok adalah dua orang atau lebih yang saling berinteraksi dan saling memengaruhi satu dengan yang lainnya, serta memiliki ketertarikan atau tujuan yang sama. Mills (Walgito, 2010) menitikberatkan penjelasannya tentang kelompok pada tujuan (purpose), dan menganggap bahwa kontak dalam kelompok sebagai sesuatu yang meaningful. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah memakai metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara dan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan angket dan skala. Hasil dalam penelitian ini bahwa dalam organisasi itu, terdapat salah satu ciri penting dari kelompok, yaitu interdependensi. interdependensi secara garis besar berarti setiap anggota kelompok bergantung (depend on) pada anggota kelompok lainnya. kelompok memiliki kohesivitas yang tinggi, maka keanggotaan/kebersamaan lebih bernilai dan menjadi lebih penting dibanding individual, hal ini juga menjadikan timbulnya sikap subjektifitas pada anggota kelompok tersebut yang cenderung menganggap bahwa anggota kelompoknya selalu benar sehingga diantara anggota kelompok tersebut akan mampu memaklumi kesalahan anggota kelompoknya.Kata Kunci : kelompok, dinamika kelompok.
