Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) merupakan kebijakan yang memberikan hak belajar tiga semester di luar program studi bagi mahasiswa. Akan tetapi dalam implementasinya, ada batasan antara fakultas bidang kesehatan dan non kesehatan. Unusa merupakan perguruan tinggi yang memiliki fakultas, baik bidang kesehatan dan non kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi MBKM pada fakultas kesehatan dan non kesehatan. Penelitian menggunakan analitik dengan metode survei dengan responden mahasiswa Unusa sejumlah 3381. Data dikumpulkan dengan kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan mengetahui distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 84,06 % responden dari fakultas kesehatan dan 92,80 % responden dari fakultas non kesehatan berpendapat bahwa Unusa sudah memiliki program serupa MBKM. Adapun kegiatan tersebut meliputi asistensi mengajar, kegiatan wirausaha, membangun desa, penelitian, pertukaran pelajar, proyek kemanusiaan, dan studi/proyek independen. Magang menjadi program MBKM yang paling diminati. Sebesar 76, 22 % dari mahasiswa Fakultas Kesehatan dan 88, 88 % dari mahasiswa fakultas non kesehatan menyatakan bahwa MBKM sangat bermanfaat untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebagai bekal setelah lulus.
Tetracycline are antibiotics with broad-spectrum that used routinely in veterinary medicine for animal treatment and prevention from infectious diseases. But, consuming antibiotics for long time and exceeding standards can lead to accumulation of antibiotic residues in the body. Based on SNI 01-6366-2000, the maximum residual limit (BMR) of tetracycline antibiotic is 0.1 mg/kg in meat.The purpose of this study was to determine the concentration of tetracycline residues in broiler chicken meat and beef that obtained in East Surabaya namely Manyar market, Sinar Baru market, Ampengan Batu market, Tenggilis Mejoyo market, Krempyeng market, Soponyono market, and Gunung Anyar market. This study used Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) as qualitative test and Spectrophotometric method as a quantitative test to determine the residual levels of tetracycline antibiotics. This study was conducted on March 15 onto May 2 2019. Based on the study, about 32 broiler chicken and 13 beef samples detected by the TLC method showed that had negative results, there was no containing tetracycline residues in samples. Awhile the results of the spectrophotometric method showed that as many as 31 samples of broiler chicken and 13 beef samples showed that had positive results containing residues of tetracycline antibiotics that exceed of the standard. Based on the results obtained that average concentration of tetracycline in samples of broiler chicken meat about 1,7 mg/kg and 0,8 mg/kg in beef samples. Descriptively,tetracycline residues in broiler chicken meat were higher than beef.
Background: The Snakehead fish (Channa striata) contains high protein that was mostly used for treatment during healing process. It could be developed as well as a mixtured with chitosan for wound dressing. Chitosan known as biodegradability, biocompatibility and bioactivity biopolymers. The aim of this study was to know the effect of combination of concentrations between chitosan and collagen of Snakehead fish skin and scales on fungal total number recovered from the composite. Methods: Snakehead fish skin and scales was treated by soaking in 2% HCl solvent for 48 hours to obtain collagen from its filtrate. Filtrate obtained continued to neutralize with 1 M NaOH until soluble collagen appeared. Collagen obtained in this study then mixed with 2% chitosan liquid to make wound dressing in various concentrations group. Results: Combination of colagen mixture in this study were chitosan liquid only as control, 25% collagen-75% chitosan (C1), 50% collagen-50% chitosan (C2) and 75% collagen-25% chitosan (C3). The study results showed that on Control, C1 and C2 group there was no fungal growth, but on C3 group there was fungal growth with total counting about 2,43 x 10 3 CFU. Based on statistically test showed that there was discrepancy for each group with p-value was 0,02 (p<0,05). Conclusion: This research showed that chitosan content could contributed as an anti-fungal.
Decent water consumption has a characteristic of colorless, odorless, tasteless and no solids dissolved. One of the heavy metals that harmful to health body if excessive contained in water is Iron (III) (Fe(III). The method used in 2 main stages for analyzing of Fe (III) content those were determination standard curve and Fe (III) content in water with UV-Vis spectrophotometer at 480 nm wavelength. The result of this research showed that Fe (III) content in water in 10 samples of well water in Tanggulangin sub-district of Sidoarjo regency is quite feasible for daily use because the result of Fe (III) all sample were < 0,3 mg / L, its based on maximum concentration iron in drinking water as the Minister of Health Decree No.907 / MENKES / SK / VII / 2002.
<p>Kanker adalah penyakit tidak menular yang menyebabkan morbiditas dan mortalitas di seluruh wilayah dunia. Salah satu pengobatan kanker adalah dengan menggunakan obat kemoterapi cisplatin. Namun cisplatin memiliki efek samping yang bersifat toksik jika dikonsumsi dalam dosis dan waktu tertentu. Kombinasi nanopartikel <em>bovine serum albumin </em>(BSA) yang mengandung cisplatin dikembangkan dengan modifikasi ikatan menggunakan asam folat sebagai solusi alternatif meminimalisir efek toksik yang dihasilkan dan mengoptimalkan sistem pengiriman obat. Tujuan penelitian adalah sintesis kombinasi nanopartikel BSA yang mengandung cisplatin dan modifikasi ikatan menggunakan asam folat sebagai kandidat antikanker. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui sintesis dengan metode desolvasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nanopartikel BSA yang dikombinasi dengan cisplatin dan asam folat telah berhasil disintesis. Analisis FT-IR menunjukkan bahwa ada gugus fungsi O-H alkohol, C-H, C-C, NO<sub>2</sub> yang berperan dalam sintesis nanopartikel. Analisis XRD menunjukkan adanya pergeseran <em>peak</em> dari NP-BSA 31,69 menjadi As-CP-NP-BSA 34,45; ukuran nanopartikel NP-BSA 2,38 nm dan As-CP-NP-BSA 2,62 nm sedangkan analisis SEM-EDX diketahui ada unsur C, O, Mg, Cl dan Pt.</p>
