The world has a big concern to entrepreneurship. The Indonesian government has been trying to increase the number of entrepreneurs by changing the way of thinking of college and university graduates from job seekers into job creators. One of the government's efforts to realize that programme is by launching Student Entrepreneur Program. The programme is aimed to facilitate students who have an interest in entrepreneurship and to start their businesses that are based on knowledge, science, and art. This study aims to analyze the role of entrepreneurial attitude as a mediator of entrepreneurial characteristics influence on entrepreneurial intention. The population of this research are students of semester one to the last semester of State Polytechnic of Malang and Brawijaya University who have learned an entrepreneurial education. Judgment sampling is used to choose the sample. The data collection was done through questionnaires. The data were collected from 206 respondents. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive statistical analysis and path analysis. The result shows that entrepreneurial attitude acts as a partial mediation of entrepreneurial characteristics influence on entrepreneurial intention.
In the globalization era, the competition faced by all companies can not be avoided, as happened to small businesses in the city of Malang. Globalization will lead to the environment becomes increasingly complex and changing. To cope with the ever-changing environment changes, so SMEs need to increase the EO to improve firm performance.
Abstract:This study is aimed to analyze the relationship between work-family conflict on career success orientation and career development. This study used 180 career women respondents in the governor's office in East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Qualitative and quantitative data from primary and secondary sources were collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents. Purposive sampling was applied, and the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis of Partial Least Square. The result shows that work-family conflict does not significantly affect women's' career development but significantly affects the career success orientation. Also, career success orientation significantly affects woman's career development. This study further reveals that career success is a strategic orientation as a mediation role between work-family conflict and woman's career development. Based on the models, this study indicates that 50.06% (Q2-predictive relevance) in the variation of the career development can be explained by career success orientation and work-family conflict.
The pattern of dual earning families began to replace the traditional family pattern as the dominant family model, thereby causing a shift in family models. Traditional family patterns, characterized by the role of men as breadwinner and the role of women as the one taking care of the household. In this globalize world, both men and women play a dual role as parents and workers. Recent research on work-family conflict (hereinafter referred to as WFC) ignores those in teaching profession. In reality, WFC can occur in all professions, not to exclude teachers and educators Studies on WFC have such important value because they reveal the relationship among work, family life, health, and general well-being of employees. This literature study aims at exploring WFC that occurs among female teachers in the Indonesian context. This paper also adressed that WFC occurs in female teachers as to provide understanding on WFC as a work and performance constraints.
Power of the Executive and Legislative Behaviorin the Local Government Budgetary Process: Symbolic Interactionism Perspective. Analyses were performed using themethod of symbolic interactionismin the interpretive paradigm. The data was collected through interviews with informants on the preparation of planning and budgeting, whichis supported by the observation and documentation. Development Planning Meeting (musrenbang) is claimedin the reformationerato have used participatory approach, but peoplewere in fact still placed as participation object. There has been ablurring of reality which is named as "cataract", by building a sweetimagery interaction in public with hypocritical languages. Social facts illustrated are the behaviour of the executive and legislative powers in the budgeting process. Abstrak: Perilaku Kuasa Eksekutif dan Legislatif Dalam Proses Penyusunan Anggaran Pemerintahan Daerah: Perspektif Interaksionisme Simbolik. Penelitian ini bertujuan memahami perilaku kuasa eksekutif dan legislatif dalam proses penyusunan anggaran Pemerintahan Daerah Kota Mayapada. Analisis dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode interaksionisme simbolik dalam paradigma interpretif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan informan bagian penyusunan perencanaan dan penganggaran, yang didukung dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Musyawarah perencanaan pembangunan (musrenbang) era reformasi diklaim menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif, tetapi masyarakat hanya dijadikan objek partisipasi. Telah terjadipengaburan yang disebut peneliti dengan "katarak", dengan membangun interaksi pencitraan yang manis di depan publik dengan bahasa-bahasa hipokrit. Fakta sosial yang tergambarkan merupakan perilaku kuasa eksekutif dan legislatif dalam proses penyusunan anggaran.

Research sample were 143 nurses who work at Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Probolinggo Hospital with more than 1 year working time. The analyse tool is Partial Least Square (PLS). The research result competencies, training and organization culture influence organizational commitment directly but didnt have influence on nurses performance. Organizational commitmen have the role mediation fully (complete) by competencies, training with culture to nurses’performance in Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Hospital.
