A rúcula é uma brássica cujas folhas são ricas em vitaminas, sais minerais e apresentam efeito medicinal. A produção de mudas é uma etapa importante do sistema de produção de hortaliças, pois influencia o desenvolvimento, o ciclo, a qualidade e a quantidade a ser produzida.  Dentre as práticas de manejo, o uso de produtos organominerais líquidos ainda é recente. Diante disso, objetivou-se avaliar o efeito do carbono orgânico proveniente de um fertilizante organomineral líquido no desenvolvimento inicial de mudas de rúcula. O experimento, em delineamento de blocos ao acaso, em esquema fatorial (4 x 2) + 1, avaliou quatro doses (0.50; 0.75; 1.00 e 1.25%), duas fontes (Sulfato de zinco e fertilizante organomineral líquido) mais um tratamento testemunha sem a aplicação de produtos. A coleta das plantas foi realizada 32 dias após a semeadura. A presença de carbono orgânico é favorável ao desenvolvimento de mudas de rúcula. A aplicação do fertilizante organomineral líquido resultou em melhores médias das variáveis comprimento de raiz, número de folhas, massa seca da parte aérea, massa seca raiz, teor de clorofila A e teor de clorofila total em comparação com o sulfato de zinco, porém sem efeito em relação à testemunha.

The potato crop is very demanding regarding the presence of nutrients in the form readily available in soil solution and the climatic conditions to ensure satisfactory production of tubers. Each potato cultivar has specific characteristics for its development. The objective of this work was to evaluate the development and productivity of potato cv. Cupid, due to doses of fertilizers and the parceling of organomineral fertilization of the plantation and coverage compared to the use of the mineral. The experiment was conducted in the municipality of Perdizes, in Minas Gerais, in the harvest of 2014/15. The experimental design was in randomized blocks with a factorial scheme of 4 doses x 2 nitrogen managements + control treatment (conventional mineral dose) in 3 replicates. The doses of organomineral fertilizer were: 25, 50, 75 and 100% of the mineral dose of 600 kg ha-1 of potassium sulphate, 850 kg ha-1 monoammonium phosphate, and 300 kg ha-1 of ammonium sulphate. The management of the fertilization consisted of the achievement or not of the coverage that was made at 19 days after planting (DAP) along with the hilling. At 36, 54, 64 and 81 DAP, collection of plants was performed for the characterization of potato growth. No differences were observed between the doses of organomineral fertilizer as well as in the management of coverage in relation to the use of the mineral. However, the dose of 75% of the organomineral fertilizer with the realization of coverage provided better physiological response of the plants in relation to the accumulation of dry mass.

RESUMOA cultura da batata é a que mais exige a utilização de fertilizantes, em relação a todas as outras culturas produzidas no Brasil. Por isso é importante realizar estudos com novas fontes que possam potencializar o balanço entre nutrientes, melhorar a qualidade física do solo, fornecer nutrientes de acordo com as necessidades da planta e reduzir impactos ambientais. Objetivou-se avaliar a eficiência agronômica de fertilizantes organominerais líquidos em batateira, cultivar Asterix. O delineamento utilizado foi o de blocos ao acaso, com quatro tratamentos e seis repetições. Os tratamentos consistiram na aplicação dos organominerais Acorda+Aminosan+Fitofert; Fitofert; Acorda e uma testemunha, onde não houve aplicação de organomineral. Apenas para produtividade de tubérculos da classe Especial, houve diferença entre os tratamentos, em que a aplicação de Acorda demonstrou ser mais favorável, produzindo 39,83 t ha -1 . Quando aplicados os três produtos testados (Acorda+Aminosan+Fitofert), há efeito negativo na produtividade. Embora os tratamentos não diferenciem em relação ao teor de sólidos solúveis, todos estão dentro da faixa ideal, no nível intermediário, para sua utilização na indústria. Therefore, it is important to conduct studies in, new sources that can enhance the balance between nutrients, improve soil's physical quality, provide nutrients based on the plant's needs and reduce environmental impacts. The objective this study was to evaluate the efficiency of liquid biofertilizer in potato, cultivar Asterix. The design was a randomized blocks, with four treatments and six replications. The treatments consisted in the application of biofertilizers Acorda + Aminosan + Fitofert; Fitofert; Acorda and a witness where there was no application of biofertilizer. Only for special class tuber yield, was difference between treatments, where the application of Acorda was more favorable, producing 39.83 t ha -1 . When the three tested products applied, there is a negative effect on the productivity. Although the treatments did not differ in relation to soluble solids, all are within the ideal range, at the intermediate level, for use in industry.

Losna ou absinto (Artemisa absinthium L.) é uma espécie utilizada desde a antiguidade devido a seu princípio ativo medicinal, com destaque no cenário atual por sua capacidade de fornecer substâncias úteis à indústria.  Estudos sobre a produção de plantas medicinais em hidroponia podem encontrar alternativas viáveis para otimizar a produção, especialmente por fornecerem dados sobre o crescimento e produção. Neste contexto, objetivou-se avaliar o desenvolvimento do absinto sob concentrações de solução nutritiva e posição das plantas no perfil hidropônico, em sistema hidropônico NFT. O experimento foi conduzido entre os meses de abril e agosto de 2009 em delineamento de blocos ao acaso com cinco repetições, em esquema fatorial 4 x 3.  Foram avaliadas altura, massa fresca e seca da parte aérea e de raízes. As plantas tiveram seu crescimento inicial em espuma fenólica e foram irrigadas com solução nutritiva diluída a 50 %. Após transplantadas para as bancadas de desenvolvimento, foram submetidas aos tratamentos: concentrações de solução nutritiva (50, 75, 100 e 125 %) e posições das plantas nos perfis hidropônicos (inicial, intermediária e final). A solução nutritiva a 50 % foi considerada a melhor opção de cultivo para absinto, uma vez que concentrações maiores não refletem em desenvolvimento significativo. Portanto, a redução pode ser utilizada sem comprometer a produção de biomassa, com economia de recursos naturais e financeiro.

RESUMO Objetivou-se avaliar a eficiência da aplicação de fertilizantes NPK e, o uso destes combinados a reguladores de crescimento, na produção de mudas de tomate industrial N901. O experimento foi conduzido em casa de vegetação em blocos casualizados, com quatro repetições. Os tratamentos, em esquema fatorial (4x2) +1, consistiram em quatro doses (0,5; 0,75; 1,0 e 1,25%), duas fontes de nutrientes (NPK e NPK+ regulador de crescimento) e uma testemunha, sem aplicação de nutrientes. A aplicação de NPK foi superior à aplicação do NPK + auxina para a maioria dos caracteres de desenvolvimento. A altura das plantas, comprimento da raiz, diâmetro e massa seca da parte aérea foram respectivamente: 35,29; 16,42; 18,53 e 48,6% superior quando submetidas a fertilizantes, comparado ao formulado com auxina. Doses entre 0,5 a 1,25% não influenciam o desenvolvimento de plantas de tomate N901.

Currently, planting onion through seedling production is predominant in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Thus, the present work aimed to evaluate the agronomic potential of new onion genotypes as a function of the planting system for this region. Eleven genotypes were evaluated, as follows: “commercial genotypes” Bola Precoce, Mulata, Sprint, Suprema and “pre-commercial genotypes” TE 201, TE 209, TE 216, TE 230, TE 242, TE 316 and TE 329, submitted to four planting systems: seedling production, seedling production with leaf pruning before transplanting, no-tillage manually planted at the definitive site and seedling production in trays. Treatments were arranged in an 11 x 4 factorial scheme (eleven genotypes and four planting systems). Although little practiced, the no-till system for onion cultivation for the northwestern region of Rio Grande do Sul can potentially be explored. Genotypes that best adapted to this system were: Bola Precoce, Suprema, Sprint, Mulata and TE 201. Comparatively, “commercial” genotypes showed an increase of 10.81 t ha-1 in relation to “pre-commercial” genotypes in the no-till system, proving the efficiency of this system.

The recommendation of fertilization for zucchini (Cucurbita pepo) cultivation is usually made with no differentiation from the other cucurbit crops. Thus, there is a need to examine the doses of fertilizers used for zucchini production, as well as the suitability for cultivars, seasons, and cultivation regions. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of sulfur doses at topdressing fertilization and the supply of organic compost at planting on the production and quality of zucchini seeds. A total of eight treatments were studied in a randomized block design with a factorial scheme 4x2, corresponding to four sulfur doses at topdressing (0, 57, 114 and 173 kg ha-1 of S), in the presence (30 t ha-1) and absence of organic compost at planting. The fruits were harvested 62 DAT, and after harvest, the fruits remained in rest for 15 days in order to reach the uniformity of the physiological maturity of the seeds. The production characteristics evaluated were average fresh weight, diameter, dry weight and length of the fruits, fruit yield per plant, weight of a thousand seeds, number and seed weight. Regarding the seed quality, the percentage of germination, germination speed index, first count of the germination test, and electric conductivity, were evaluated. The supply of organic compost at planting had a positive effect on the production and physiological quality of the seeds of zucchini produced. The sulfur applied at topdressing improved the presence of the organic compost and also the production of seeds. Hence, it is recommended to apply 30 t ha-1 of organic compost at planting in association with 57 kg ha-1 of S at topdressing for higher seed yield and quality.
