Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui lama perendaman Rootone F dan dosis pupuk kandang sapi yang optimum serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman nilam. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Medono, Pekalongan Barat, Pekalongan. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama bulan yaitu bulan Januari sampai April 2014. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan factorial 3 x 4. Faktor pertama lama perendaman Rootone F terdiri atas 3 taraf (lama perendaman 1 jam, 2 jam dan 3 jam). Faktor kedua dosis pupuk kandang sapi terdiri atas 4 taraf (0 ton/ha, 10 ton/ha, 20 ton/ha dan 30 ton/ha). Setiap perlakuan diulang tiga kali. Variabel yang diamati meliputi jumlah akar, panjang akar terpanjang, bobot basah akar, bobot kering akar, jumlah daun, diameter batang, tinggi tanaman, bobot basah brangkasan, bobot kering brangkasan dan persentase tumbuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama perendaman berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap jumlah akar, panjang akar terpanjang, bobot basah akar, bobot kering akar, diameter batang, bobot basah brangkasan, dan bobot kering brangkasan, sedangkan variabel jumlah daun dan tinggi tanaman berbeda nyata. Lama perendaman 3 jam (L3) memberikan hasil yang terbaik. Dosis pupuk kandang berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua variabel. Dosis pupuk kandang sapi terbaik 30 ton/ha. Interaksi antara lama perendaman Rootone F dengan dosis pupuk kandang sapi berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua variabel yang diamati. Interaksi terbaik pada lama perendaman 3 jam dengan dosis pupuk 30 ton/ha (L3D3).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh macam zat pengatur tumbuh alami dan klon kopi Robusta serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan setek kopi Robusta. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Mesoyi K ecamatan Talun Kabupaten Pekalongan. Penelitian ini disusun dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) yang terdiri atas 2 faktorial dengan ulangan 3 kali. Data dianalisis dengan uji F dan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT taraf 5 %. Faktor pertama macam zat pengatur tu mbuh meliputi (air kelapa muda, ekstrak kecambah kacang hijau, urin sapi), faktor kedua macam klon kopi Robusta (BP 409, BP 42, BP 288, SA 34). Variabel pengamatan meliputi kecepatan tumbuh tunas, persentase setek tumbuh, panjang tunas, jumlah daun, jumlah akar, panjang akar, bobot basah tanaman, bobot basah akar, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering akar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan macam zat pengatur tumbuh alami berbeda sangat nyata terhadap semua variabel kecuali berbeda nyata terhadap variabel kecepatan tumbuh tunas, bobot basah akar, dan bobot kering akar.Perlakuan macam zat pengatur tumbuh terbaik adalah air kelapa muda.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan macam klon kopi Robusta berbeda sangat nyata terhadap variabel persentase setek tumbuh, panjang tunas, jumlah daun, jumlah akar,bobot basah tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, berbeda nyata terhadap variabel panjang akar, bobot basah akar, bobot keing akar, dan tidak berbeda nyata terhadap variabel kecepatan tumbuh tunas.Klon kopi Robusta terbaik adalah BP 409.Ter dapat interaksi antara macam zat pengatur tumbuh alami dan macam klon kopi Robusta. Interaksi terbaik dicapai pada kombinasi perlakuan air kelapa muda dan klon kopi Robusta BP 409.
<p>Bawang daun merupakan salah satu tanaman holtikultura. Bawang daun dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan penyedap rasa pada beberapa jenis makanan seperti soto, sup, dan campuran bumbu mi instan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsentrasi pupuk cair limbah tahu dan pemotongan bibit anakan yang berbeda serta interaksinya terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang daun. Telah dilaksanakan di Dukuh Sukoyoso, Desa Keputon, Kecamatan Blado. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan adalah RAK. Faktor pertama konsentrasi pupuk cair limbah tahu (0 ml/l, 150 ml/l, 300 ml/l, 450 ml/l), faktor kedua pemotongan bibit anakan ( tanpa pemotongan, 1/2 pemotongan, 2/3 pemotongan). Data dianalisis dengan uji F, apabila terdapat beda nyata antar perlakuan, maka diuji lanjut dengan uji BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukan konsentrasi pupuk cair limbah tahu berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua variabel yang diamati perlakuan konsentrasi pupuk cair limbah tahu optimum adalah konsentrasi 300 ml/l. Pemotongan bibit anakan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun per rumpun, jumlah anakan per rumpun, berat segar brangkasan, berat segar tanaman, panjang akar terpanjang, berat segar akar, volume akar dan berat kering akar serta berbeda nyata terhadap diameter batang semu. Pemotongan bibit anakan terbaik adalah 1/2 pemotongan. Terdapat interaksi yang berpengaruh sangat nyata antara konsentrasi dan pemotongan bibit anakan terhadap variabel berat segar brangkasan, berat segar tanaman dan panjang akar terpanjang, berbeda nyata terhadap jumlah daun per rumpun, jumlah anakan per rumpun dan berat kering akar. As the virus was getting worst, all of the community activity such as education, economic, and social were restricted. During this time, people have experience bored as their activities were only stay at home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. In general, to overcome this boredom, the community, especially mothers, diverts boredom by farming ornamental plants at home. There are several types of ornamental plants that are commonly planted and dominantly planted, namely <em>Epipremnum aureum</em>, <em>Cactus sp.</em>, <em>Aglaonema sp.</em>, <em>Anthurium sp.</em>, <em>Caladium sp.</em>, <em>Monstera sp.,</em> <em>Calathea sp.</em>,<em>Sansevierra sp.</em>, <em>Alocasia sp.</em>, <em>Piperomia sp.</em>, <em>Coleus sp.</em>. The usual ornamental plant cultivation techniques include planting plants in pots by first being given a planting medium, usually using a mixture of soil, manure and fresh husks. Ornamental plants are usually purchased in traditional markets, roadside markets or street markets. The maintenance includes watering, changing planting media, providing N, P, K fertilizer or liquid organic fertilizer, providing buffer and pruning. <p>Bandengan village is one of the northern coastal areas of Pekalongan which has been affected by tidal flooding until now. The tidal flood conditions forced people whose livelihoods were from agriculture to change into casual laborers, traders and so on. There is a need for technological breakthroughs in carrying out agricultural activities that are minimal and unsupportive. The modern term that is currently used to cover several cultivation methods in urban areas is Urban Farming. Urban Farming is a form of urban farming growing food in urban areas on land, usually in backyards or on vacant lots, but sometimes neglected spaces such as road medians, which are not usually dedicated to producing food. Extension activities and mentoring by competent agriculture can be able to change conditions that are less favorable for agricultural cultivation until the community is ready in terms of theory and practice. This service is in the context of the 40th anniversary of Pekalongan University in the context of forming the target village. The methods used in this service are lectures, active participation or discussion and mentoring. The outreach activities in the form of lectures and discussions were attended by the youth of the Bandengan village. An overview of Urban Farming is presented using a projector. The explanation of the Urban Farming concept offered is in accordance with the Bandengan area (verticulture, hydroponics, aquaponics and polybags) and what has been done by Bandengan residents, namely hydroponics and polybags. The implementation of this counseling has an impact on the community's enthusiasm to carry out agricultural activities even though their agricultural land has been submerged by tidal water. Urban farming explains how cultivation on land is limited and affected by tidal flooding but can still produce vegetable and fruit crops that can increase the income of the people of Bandengan village.</p><p><strong>Keywords</strong> : Agriculture, Bandengan, Flood Rob, Urban Farming</p>
Kabupaten Pekalongan bagian utara memiliki ketinggian 1 mdpl yang mengakibatkan lahan-lahan di daerah tersebut mudah terkena rob air, hal ini mengakibatkan lahan-lahan di daerah pesisir pantai memiliki lahan yang salin dan sulit untuk diupayakan untuk proses budidaya pertanian. Hidroponik merupakan teknik budidaya tanaman tanpa menggunakan media tanah, melainkan menggunakan air sebagai media tanamnya. Keuntungan hidroponik adalah: (a). Tidak memerlukan lahan yang luas (b). Mudah dalam perawatan (c). Memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Sedangkan kelemahannya adalah: (a). Memerlukan biaya yang mahal (b). Membutuhkan ketrampilan yang khusus. Disisi yang lain, pandemi virus Covid-19 yang telah menjalar keberbagai daerah telah mengakibatkan penurunan berbagai bidang termasuk ekonomi. Virus Covid-19 ini mengakibatkan terbatasnya aktivitas manusia yang sebagian besar harus dilakukan dari rumah, bahkan beberapa orang harus merasakan adanya pemutusan hubungan kerja akibat perusahaan tempatnya bekerja harus tutup. Kemandirian masyarakat dibidang pertanian akan membantu peran pemerintah dalam supply kebutuhan pangan disuatu daerah hingga negara. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah : (1) Memberikan kesadaran kepada masyarakat pentingnya kemandirian ekonomi serta ketersediaan pelengkap pangan di era Pandemi Covid-19, (2) Memberikan ilmu pengetahuan dan wawasan kepada masyarakat tentang budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik, (3) Mengetahui potensi pasar dan melakukan kerjasama kemitraan pasca panen. Metode pengabdian yaitu diskusi dan pendampingan lapangan. Bentuk pendampingan yang dilakukan oleh Fakultas Pertanian Unikal dilakukan secara offline dan online, offline dilakukan secara insidental dan online menggunakan fasilitas media sosial untuk berkomunikasi.
