The purposes of this research were 1) to produce a pocket book based on comic to be called BUSAPAKSA; (2) determine the appropriateness and quality of pocket book based on comic that had been developed; and (3) to describe the improvement in learning conceptual understanding after using pocket book. The present research employs a Research and Development (R&D) method by developing a model proposed by Borg and Gall (1983). The product was validated by a psychologist, an instructional media expert, and elementary teachers. The product was performed through preliminary, limited, and broader test. The boarder testing used one shot case study. The research subjects were 360 the fifth grade students elementary school students in Brebes, Tegal, and Banyumas regency and Tegal city. The data collection was conducted by using a questionnaire and conceptual understanding test. Results of the study indicated: (1) BUSAPAKSA was a pocket book based on comic that could be used for learning; (2) BUSAPAKSA was quite viable as learning media and of very good quality; (3) The learning conducted using BUSAPAKSA could improve the students' understanding. The results showed that the students' average gain score was classified into medium category.
Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran model belajar siswa aktif dengan pendekatan ALSAK bagi siswa SD. Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari silabus, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), dan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS). Pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran dalam penelitian ini mengadopsi pada model pengembangan Borg & Gall. Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan dalam empat langkah utama. Pada langkah studi pendahuluan diperoleh informasi bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model yang mengkaitkan Alquran dengan bidang kajian dibutuhkan oleh guru untuk mendukung tujuan kurikulum 2013. Hasil pada tahap analisis kurikulum yaitu ditemukan integrasi ayat alqur’an Qs Al-Anbiya: 33, Qs Yunus: 5-6, Q.S Al-Anbiya: 33, Qs An-Nur: 45, Qs Al-A’raf: 57, Qs An-Nur: 45, Qs Al-An‘am: 38, Q.S Al-An‘am: 38, Qs Arrum: 41, Qs Al-A’raf : 56. Hasil penilaian validator menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang telah dikembangkan memiliki kategori baik dan angka “A”. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dengan model ini layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran bagi siswa SD Kata kunci: Pengembangan, Perangkat Pembelajaran, Model Belajar Aktif, Pendekatan ALSAK DEVELOPING THE LEARNING MATERIALS BASED ON ACTIVE STUDENTS LEARNING MODEL THROUGH AL-QURAN, SCIENCE, AND CHARACTER APPROACH (ALSAK) FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENT Abstract This research aims to develop learning materials based on active students learning model through Al-Quran, Science, and Character Approach (ALSAK) for elementary student. The learning materials in this research consist of syllabi, lesson plans, and students’ worksheets. The research model and development used the Borg and Gall development model. The result of preliminary study found that the learning model connecting the Al-Quran to learning material was needed to the teachers to support the purpose of the 2013 curriculum. The result of curriculum analysis found that Alquran verses integration of Al-Anbiya: 33, Yunus:5-6, Al-Anbiya:33, An-Nur: 45, Al-A’raf : 57, An-Nur: 45, Al -An ‘am: 38, Al-An ‘am: 38, Arrum: 41, Al-A’raf :56. The result of validation the assessments shown that the learning material developed has a good category and the predicate was “A”. Abstract-This research intended to create comic-based Anti-violation Pocket Book (BUSAPAKSA). The research and development model used Borg and Gall development model (1983). The procedure of this research consisted of: (1) preliminary study, (2) curriculum analysis, (3) creating product draft, (4) product draft validation by experts, (5) trial and product revision, and (6) dissemination. The subject of this research were teachers and elementary school students on Brebes, Tegal, Banyumas Regency and Tegal City. The research result included the report of research procedure phase one to phase four. The result of preliminary study showed that there were sexual violations to children on Brebes, Tegal, Banyumas Regency and Tegal City. The violations occurred at schools, their houses, and other people's houses. The perpetrators were teachers, neighbors, friends and family members of the elementary school students. Anti-sexual violation education was never be taught by teachers. There were no media which can be used to teach anti-violation education. The result of curriculum analysis phase demonstrated that the purposes of anti-violation education were: giving information about the forms of violations, how to identify actions directed at the violations, and preventing acts. Content packaging of information on anti-sexual violation education in the story related with learning material in elementary schools. Product planning stage contained product layouts, storyboards, and characterization. Product appropriateness assessment by validators presented with good category and it was appropriate to experiment at schools.
