Stunting Risk for Children under Two Years (7-24 months). The results of Nutritional Status Monitoring (PSG) showed that the prevalence of stunting 29,6% in 2017. The adverse effects of stunting in toddlers is a disorder of decreased cognitive abilities and learning achievement, decreased immunity, the risk of degenerative diseases. The city of Bandar Lampung is still faced with acute and chronic nutritional problems because the prevalence of stunting in children under five is still high. Therefore, the research conducted in Sukaraja Village, Panjang District, Bandar Lampung City, considering that the Village has the highest population of poverty compared to other villages. The aim of the research is to obtain information about the risk factors for stunting in children under two years (7-24 months) This type of research was observational using case-control design, with a sample of 53 people for the case group and 106 people for the control group where the selection for the case group and controls was done in a simple random manner. Data analysis using chi-square test. The results showed that energy consumption factors (p=0.040), exclusive breastfeeding (p=0.011), history of infectious diseases (p=0.000), history of premature birth (p=0.022), and maternal education level (p=0.029) were related significantly with the incidence of stunting. While protein consumption factors (p=0.283), Zink consumption (p=0.321), Early Breastfeeding Initiation (p=0.538), maternal nutrition status (p = 0.056), maternal age (p=0.438), and distance the age of birth (p=0.188) was not significantly associated with the incidence of stunting of children aged 7-23 months in the Sukaraja Village of Panjang District. Regular home visits by health workers are expected to increase maternal awareness during pregnancy to have a pregnancy checked.Abstrak: Risiko Stunting Anak Baduta (7-24 bulan). Ada banyak dampak buruk yang ditimbulkan dari masalah stunting pada balita, antara lain menurunnya kemampuan kognitif dan prestasi belajar. Masalah gizi di Bandar Lampung yang bersifat akut maupun kronis masih cukup tinggi, oleh sebab itu penelitian dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Sukaraja mengingat kelurahan tersebut memiliki jumlah penduduk dengan kemiskinan tertinggi dibandingkan dengan kelurahan lainnya. The Effect of Nutrition Supporting on Nutrition Change in Behavior of Fulfilling Nutrition in Pregnant Women Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED). CEDs in pre-pregnancy and pregnant women have an impact on the birth of Intra Uterine Growth Retardation (IUGR) children, Low Birth Weight (LBW) and stunting, so that SEZ problems in pregnant women need to be improved through nutritional assistance. The study aims to prove the effect of nutritional assistance on CED pregnant women on changes in knowledge, attitudes and actions in fulfilling nutrition. The study was carried out in the cities of Bengkulu and Bandar Lampung with a quasi-experimental design carried out by health cadres who had been trained to assist pregnant women with CED to carry out health promotion and monitor consumption of Supplementary Feeding Programme (SFP) and Fe Tablet consumption for 3 months. Changes in knowledge, attitudes and actions in nutritional fulfillment were analyzed by different mean and independent samples. The results of the study found that effective nutrition assistance to increase knowledge, positive attitudes and actions of CED pregnant women in fulfilling nutrition. After mentoring there was a significant increase in the average knowledge score, attitudes and actions of CED pregnant women in both the City of Bengkulu and in Bandar Lampung. Need continuous nutrition assistance for CED pregnant women so that behavioral changes and fulfillment of balanced nutrition occur during pregnancy and postpartum.
Penerapan protokol kesehatan terbukti efektif untuk mencegah penularan Covid-19. Partisipasi masyarakat menjadi kunci utama untuk mencegah penyebaran wabah Covid-19. Adaptasi kebiasaan baru perlu didukung dengan pengetahuan yang benar. Oleh karena itu masyarakat perlu diberikan edukasi yang memadai tentang masalah Covid-19 dan upaya pencegahannya. Sosialisasi protokol kesehatan kepada aparat pemerintahan kelurahan yang diikuti dengan penyuluhan dan konsultasi bagi sasaran khusus merupakan salah satu metode yang layak dilakukan. Sosialisasi secara klasikal terbukti dapat meningkatkan secara signifikan pengetahuan aparat pemerintahan kelurahan sebesar 42,3% sedangkan penyuluhan informal dan berkala dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat sebesar 52,03%. Pemberian stimulus sarana pendukung pelaksanaan protokol kesehatan juga berkontribusi meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam melaksanakan protokol kesehatan.
Data penilaian status gizi tahun 2017 diperoleh nilai prevalensi di kabupaten pesawaran yaitu stunting 35,1%, bumil KEK 25,3%, dan ASI ekslusif 52,6% (Kemenkes RI, 2017). Angka prevalensi tersebut masih berada diatas angka target capaian Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Daerah (RPJMD) Kabupaten Pesawaran 2016- 2020, seperti capaian kinerja program gizi : tahun 2018 bayi baru lahir mendapat IMD hanya 6,7 %, ASI ekslusif sehingga dinilai perlu adanya tindakan intervensi terkait pencapaian target pada RPJMD. Kolaborasi antara institusi pendidikan kesehatan bersama dengan Dinas Kesehatan Pesawaran dianggap salah satu terobosan yang patut dicoba untuk dijalankan. Analisis terhadap penyebab masalah tersebut menunjukkan bahwa faktor pengetahuan, sikap dan ketrampilan ibu hamil merupakan penyebab langsung masalah stunting pada wilayah tersebut sehingga metode yang dilaksanakan adalah penyuluhan, pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hasil Pengabmas diperoleh bahwa terdapat 30 kader dari 3 desa yang memiliki keterampilan dalam hal konseling ASI dan PMBA, terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap serta keterampilan terkait kemampuan membuat MP-ASI berbahan pangan lokal sesuai dengan prinsip PMBA. Diperoleh tenaga pendamping gizi ibu hamil sebanyak 10 orang di masing masing desa yaitu desa gedong tataan, tembeleng dan desa pampangan. Terjadi Peningkatan Pengetahuan dan sikap kader dan ibu hamil terpilih tentang pentingnya status gizi terkait output kehamilan dan pentingnya ASI ekslusif . Terjadi Peningkatan Keterampilan ibu dalam membuat MP-ASI berbasis pangan lokal berdasarkan hasil observasi pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat.
Indonesia has a significant problem with iron deficiency or anemia in pregnant women. Therefore, alternatives to iron supplementation are needed to prevent iron nutritional anemia. The study aimed to assess the organoleptic acceptance and nutritional value (proximate test, Fe and Energy) of moringa brownie cake substituted with tempeh flour. The research design used a Randomized Control Trial (RCT) design with five replications. Brownies and organoleptic tests were made at the Nutrition Laboratory of the Tanjungkarang Health Polytechnic. Proximate, iron, and energy tests were conducted at the POLINELA Agricultural Technology Laboratory in 2021. Moringa leaves were added to the brownies. There are five treatments with different compositions in brownies, namely 100%:0 (F1), 85%:15 (F2), 75%:25 (F3), 65%:35 (F4), and 55%:45 (F5). Data processing was done organoleptically. Data analysis used the ANOVA test and DMRT test. The results showed that the best and most preferred brownie cake was in formula F3 (p= 0,007) with a 75% wheat flour ratio: 25% tempeh flour. The best brownie cake has a nutritional content of 21,08% water; 23,41% fat; 5,53% protein; 1,15% ash; 1,17% crude fiber, and 49.64% carbohydrates, Fe value of 10.2 mg, an energy value of 492 kcal/100g. In conclusion, substituting tempeh flour affects the organoleptic test of various moringa brownies. The best moringa brownie cake was obtained in formulation F3.
Mothers as the main caregivers of children in providing feeding practices must be based on knowledge, attitudes, and good practices. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of stunting prevention through participatory counseling regarding the application of balanced nutrition to toddlers by involving local preachers on the mother's knowledge, attitudes, and nutritional intake of stunting toddlers in the stunting locus village, Gedong Tataan district. This researchwasquasi-experimental with a pre and post-test control group design. The research subjects were 21 stunted children under five in the treatment group and 21 stunted children under five as controls.The treatmentgroup was given participatory counseling intervention involving posyandu cadresand local preachers, while the control group was given counseling about balanced nutrition by posyandu cadres. Counseling was carried out for 3 weeks in a row onthe subjects of the treatment and control groups. Wilcoxon Rank Test and Mann Whitney were used to seedifferences in each group on knowledge, attitudes, and nutrient intake. This study showed that there were significant differences in knowledge (p=0,000), attitudes (p=0,000), energy intake (p=0,008), and protein (p=0,000). Stunting prevention interventions through participatory counseling on balanced nutrition involving local preachers have proven effective in increasing mothers' knowledge and attitudes about balanced nutrition as well as the nutritional intake of stunted children under five.
The results of Riskesdas in 2013 showed that the incidence of anemia in young women was still high at 22.7%. One of the efforts made by the Indonesian government in overcoming the problem of anemia in young women is by distributing iron supplementation tablets (TTD) to school girls. The TTD supplementation program for young women currently does not cover all educational institutions at the junior or senior high school level. This raises the question of whether there are differences in anemia status between schools that have implemented TTD supplementation programs and schools that have not implemented them. The general purpose of this study was to determine the anemia status of iron nutrition in high school students. The specific objectives of the study were to 1) assess the state of anemia in high school students with TTD supplementation program, 2) determine the status of anemia in high school students with non-TTD supplementation program and 3) find out the difference in the state of anemia between both high school students. The sample of this study was taken randomly from two schools in Bandar Lampung, namely SMK 1 as many as 75 people and Al-Azhar High School as many as 72 people. Data processing is carried out with the computer, and a different test is carried out by testing the kai quadratic statistics. The results showed that the incidence of anemia at SMK 1 was 24.0% while at Al-Azhar High School was 43.1%. There was a significant difference between the prevalence of anemia at SMK 1 Al-Azhar High School with a value of p = 0.023. The Health Service is expected to expand the coverage of the TTD program to schools that have not been covered by the TTD supplementation program. The school can participate in providing self-help TTD.
