Este trabalho pretende descrever o desenho, o design e as características operacionais de um motor homopolar usando experimentos físicos e programas de simulação. O motor homopolar converte energia elétrica em energia mecânica utilizando a força de Lorentz, o torque desta força conduz o motor homopolar para frente. O objetivo deste estudo é descrever o desenho, design e características operacionais de um motor homopolar, e como objetivo específico busca-se definir e caracterizar o motor homopolar; e discorrer sobre o modelo teórico em PSpice. Um modelo homopolar foi desenvolvido no software em PSpice. Por meio de experimentos utilizando diversos lubrificantes e uma variação de armaduras, foi possível alcançar velocidades médias máximas de 0,71m/s. A simulação no PSpice foi capaz de prever o desempenho do motor homopolar, incluindo posição e velocidade.
A Energia solar é economicamente viável, de fácil aquisição e instalação, possui características de longa vida útil do sistema gerador, no Brasil detém grande potencial de uso e altos níveis de incidência solar que são superiores aos países que desenvolvem projetos fotovoltaicos com frequência, com isso a energia solar no Brasil aparece fortemente como uma opção complementar à matriz energética. O objetivo deste trabalho é demonstrar a viabilidade técnica e econômica de projetos já integrados de sistemas fotovoltaicos conectados à rede elétrica. Foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico abrangendo os principais temas e também um estudo de caso com base nos dados fornecidos pelo gerente do projeto e comparação dos dados estimados de geração de energia com os dados estimados de consumo, módulo e inversor. O sistema fotovoltaico é composto por 71 módulos, cada um com potência de 510 Wp, totalizando 36,1 kWp, e dois inversores com potência nominal de 15 kW. Ao final do trabalho, é apresentado um estudo econômico que comprova que o projeto em questão é tecnicamente viável.
Este trabalho de licenciatura está orientado para a análise da iluminação em espaços exteriores através de geração fotovoltaica autônoma de modo a promover a economia e eficácia energética na iluminação externa de uma residência, também para poder transmitir conhecimentos sobre a utilização do sistema elétrico por energia solar. Os métodos de pesquisa utilizados foram a análise teórica, através de pesquisa bibliográfica dos fundamentos sobre energia solar fotovoltaica, iluminação industrial e microcontroles para este tipo de sistemas de iluminação, seguindo então com o método experimental, que consiste na realização de testes de operação e das medições das variáveis elétricas, dimensionamento de energia e comparação entre os resultados calculados na parte teórica e os dados obtidos na parte experimental. Uma das conclusões mais relevantes do desenvolvimento do projeto é que através do desenho deste sistema, se obtém alta eficiência no sistema de iluminação e economia de energia, já que a lâmpada LED é controlada para que funcione de acordo com a programação dada, o tempo de atuação e a intensidade do fluxo luminoso. Através dessas funções o sistema permite que a bateria não se esgote durante o período de trabalho, podendo armazenar mais energia a cada dia, sem ser totalmente descarregada.
O Brasil ainda apresenta números elevados de casos de acidentes no trabalho, muitos deles gerando mortes ou incapacidade laboral permanente. Existem muitos fatores que explicam essa realidade, dentre eles destaca-se a ainda insipiente conscientização quanto à aplicação de regras de segurança antes, durante e depois das atividades de trabalho. No que diz respeito aos acidentes de trabalho em instalações elétricas esse quadro não se mostra muito diferente, portanto, este trabalho busca contribuir para a discussão sobre a aplicação das normas de segurança em instalações elétricas. Para isso foi realizada uma ampla pesquisa bibliográfica em bases de dados eletrônicas que resultou em considerável número de textos sobre o tema e sua interconexão.
Este trabalho tem o objetivo de realizar um estudo sobre a energia solar fotovoltaica, informando que é uma energia obtida através da conversão direta da luz em eletricidade por meio do efeito fotovoltaico. A célula fotovoltaica é um dispositivo fabricado com material semicondutor, é a unidade fundamental desse processo de conversão. Este tipo de energia usa-se para alimentar uma grande variedade de aplicativos e aparelhos autônomos, para abastecer refúgios ou moradias isoladas da rede elétrica e para produzir eletricidade em grande escala através de redes de distribuição. Devido à crescente demanda de energias renováveis, a fabricação de células solares e instalações fotovoltaicas tem avançado consideravelmente nos últimos anos. Para a realização deste artigo, optou-se pela revisão bibliográfica disposta em livros, teses, artigos, normas e outros documentos relevantes ao tema proposto. Para o levantamento de dados foram utilizadas bases de conteúdo Scielo e Google a fim de revisar artigos e teses experimentais de estudo das energias renováveis. Esta pesquisa se justifica devido à relevância, tanto para a sociedade como para profissionais do setor das indústrias, a fim de trazer conhecimento de materiais, técnicas e processos convencionais de fabricação, uso e instalação desta tecnologia.
