Diabetes Mellitus é um distúrbio metabólico associado à deficiência relativa ou absoluta de insulina, cuja expressão clínica completa é caracterizada por alterações metabólicas e complicações vascular e/ou neuropática. A equipe de Atenção Primária à Saúde possui grande importância na abordagem e acompanhamento dos pacientes com diagnóstico de Diabetes Mellitus e com ações de promoção da saúde. O objetivo geral do presente estudo foi à construção de um plano de ação coerente, conforme critérios epidemiológicos, éticos, econômicos e sociais, de modo a atender a responsabilidade sanitária da Estratégia Saúde da Família. O Planejamento Estratégico Situacional foi a metodologia adotada, por meio da análise situacional do território ocorreu a identificação dos 10 principais problemas, a aplicação de critérios de transcendência, urgência e capacidade de enfrentamento para estabelecer a priorização, a análise dos três principais problemas com os seus descritores e a escolha de um dos problemas para a elaboração da rede de determinação causal. Evidenciou-se entre as três causas o Infarto Agudo do Miocárdio, o Acidente Vascular Cerebral e o Diabetes Mellitus. O Diabetes Mellitus foi escolhido por ser uma das principais causas de mortalidade em maiores de 50 anos, como é também fator de risco para diversas doenças, sendo indiscutível a atuação em sua prevenção e tratamento de forma adequada na atenção básica para reduzir a morbimortalidade.
O principal campo de atuação do médico de família e comunidade é a Atenção Primária a Saúde (APS), na qual ocorre o primeiro contato do paciente com o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), sendo a porta de entrada para o mesmo. Visando a qualificação e maior resolutividade das equipes da APS, considerando o contexto de baixa resolutividade observada, foi criado o Programa Nacional Telessaúde Brasil Redes, destacando o serviço de teleconsultoria síncrona. Relatar a experiência do uso da teleconsultoria síncrona do TelessaúdeRS por uma médica residente em Medicina de família e Comunidade na Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS) Anexo Itamaraty na cidade de Anápolis-GO. Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, sobre o uso da teleconsultoria síncrona realizada entre os meses de março de 2020 a novembro de 2021. A utilização do programa foi classificada como muito satisfeita pela médica residente. Apesar dos grandes benefícios observados, há baixa adesão dos médicos atuantes na APS ao Programa. Os principais motivos encontrados para tal fato foram a falta de informação sobre o serviço e falta de treinamento para o uso do mesmo. Observa-se grandes benefícios na utilização dos serviços de telessaúde, favorecendo a capacitação dos médicos e aumentando a resolutividade da APS. No entanto, há baixa adesão dos médicos, pela falta de divulgação do canal, destacando a importância da divulgação do serviço por preceptores e/ou gestores nas UBS e aumento de relatos a respeito do tema.
