<p><strong><em>Background</em></strong><em>: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused everyone to feel anxious. The government has made several preventive strategies to inhibit the spread of the virus through social distancing, physical distancing, and the stay at home order which lead to the decreasing access to family, friends, and other social support systems and causing loneliness and increasing psychological problems such as anxiety and depression. Thus, everyone, especially teenagers, are expected to be able to adapt to the new habits (the new normal) in carrying out healthy and clean-living behaviour. Those who are prone to COVID-19 gradually develop adaptive and functional skills and competencies, and build a self-identity that can prepare themselves to carry out their roles and respond to societal expectations as they mature, which can also be regarded as a period of storms and stress. <strong>Objectives: </strong>Is to identify the relationship of coping strategies with resilience and anxiety in the transition to the new normal during the COVID-19 pandemic on teenagers in Kupang City. </em></p><p><strong><em>Methods:</em></strong><em> The research design used in this study was cross-sectional. The sample in this study was 147 measured using the inclusion and exclusion criteria that had been set. Meanwhile, the inclusion criteria in this study were as follows: domiciled in Kupang City, have stayed in Kupang for more than 3 years, aged over 15-19, and class VII of junior high school. The measuring instrument used in this study is the Ways of Coping questionnaire from Folkman to measure coping strategies, the self-rating anxiety scale (SRAS) questionnaire from Zung to measure anxiety, and the Gartland Questionnaire to measure resilience. The data analysis was conducted by using Chi Square test. </em></p><p><strong><em>Results</em></strong><em>:The results showed p-value < 0.05 was a relationship of coping strategies with self-efficacy and anxiety on junior high school teenagers in Kupang City. </em></p><p><strong><em>Conclusions</em></strong><em>: Coping strategies have a very significant relationship with self-efficacy and anxiety in adolescents. Adolescents who have good coping strategies have good self-efficacy during the new normal era. This is also similar to anxiety, adolescents who have good coping strategies have low anxiety.</em></p>
Pandemi covid 19 membawa perubahan kebijakan didunia pendidikan. Kebijakan tersebut membuat remaja sekolah tidak melakukan tatap muka dikelas dan menggantikan dengan metode pembelajaran jarak jauh berbasis internet atau daring yang banyak menggunakan Gagdet. Remaja bebas menggunakan gagdet untuk mengakses internet. Remaja lebih rentan terhadap kecanduan smartphone daripada orang dewasa. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah Pemberdayaan remaja dengan memberikan Cognitive commitment Behaviora therapy (CCBT) sebagai penanggkal kecanduan gadget pada remaja di Panti Asuhan St. Louis De Monfort, Sikumana Kupang. ceramah, bermain, small group discussion dan demonstrasi dengan didahului dan diakiri dengan pre test dan post test menggunakan kuisioner Kecanduan internet. Pemberian psikotherapy CCBT 5 sesi dan monitoring evaluasi. Kegatan ini dilaksanakan pada 5 Mei samapi 5 Juni 2021. Remaja sebanyak 62 orang. Hasil: Kecanduan gadget tingkat berat dari awal 52% turun menjadi 12%, Tingkat sedang dari 24% menjadi 52%, ringan 16% menjadi 20% dan normal 8% menjadi 16%. Remaaja yang kecanduan berat disarankan rujuk ke psikiatrik dan yang tingkat sedang meneruskan mencatat dalam Buku Pekerjaan rumah kegiatan pengalihan remaja dan di dampingi oleh pengasuh panti memonitor ketergantungan remaja dengan format yang tersedia dalam buku Kerja. Remaja sangat kooperatif dalam psikotherapi ini sehingga perlu dilkaukan secara berkala agar remaja dapat menggunakan gadget dengan bijak
Pendahuluan: Kecanduan smartphone merupakan masalah yangsering terjadi pada remaja awal. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui gambaran indikasi kecanduan smartphone pada remaja. Metodologi: Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa SMP di Surabaya yang mempunyai smartphone. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan multistage random sampling pada sepuluh sekolah yang tersebar di masing-masing wilayah di Surabaya serta masing-masing wilayah diwakili satu sekolah swasta dan satu sekolah negeri. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian sebanyak 400 siswa. Pengukuran menggunakan Smartphone addiction Scale (SAS). Hasil: Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 400 siswa dengan 30.5 % laki-laki dan 69.5% perempuan. Sampel berusia antara 12-17 (mean, 14.03+ 0.813) tahun dengan persebaran 13% kelas tujuh, 65.8% kelas delapan dan 21.2% kelas Sembilan. Empat indikasi menunjukkan sebagian besar dalam kategori sedangyaitu gangguan aktivitas, antisipasi positif, penarikan dan orientasi cyberspace, sedangkan penggunaan berlebih dan toleransi sebagian besar dalam kategori ringan. Kesimpulan: Orientasi cyberspace menjadi indikasi paling terlihat karena smartphone dianggap bagian penting dalam kehidupan remaja. Sehingga meskipun penggunaan smartphone yang lama tidak dianggap berlebihan dalam penggunaannya. Identifikasi jenis kecanduan dan lama penggunaan smartphone perlu ditambahkan sebagai data tambahan
