Merauke Regency has several recreational places including; Wasur National Park, RI-PNG Border Tourism Area in Sota, Lotus Garden, Kolam Parako, Semesta Commercial Area, PMI Culinary Festival Park. But there are no recreational places that are packaged in an integrated manner which consists of a place to eat, a place to relax, a place to play children. To support the development of Merauke City, a more representative Culinary Center facility needs to be held. The purpose of this study is to plan and design Kopa Culinary Tourism with an attractive visual appearance supported by a site that is accessible to the Modern Tropical architectural design approach. The method used in this research is descriptive research method, carried out by collecting data in the form of interviews with Kolam Parako managers and direct documentation of the object under study. The results of the data obtained are used as a reference to determine the type of space requirements and types of activities. The design of Kopa Culinary Tourism with a land area of 5 Ha is divided into 4 parts, namely; (1) Managing Facilities, (2) Culinary Facilities (3) Bathing Facilities (4) Supporting Facilities. Modern tropical architecture approaches are applied including; optimization of natural ventilation and lighting, use of modern materials such as the use of zincalum roof cover, use of GRC partition walls. Abstract. Semi permanent houses are also used called "Rumah Kancingan" is the houses that generally exist in the Merauke city. Called semi permanent because the main structure use is woods even if the walls uses bricks. This research tries to analyze more about Semi permanent house in terms of aesthethics value. This research is a qualitative research with data collection techniques using questionnaire method and direct observation field and study of literature. The result of questionnaire data collection then processed using SPSS to get the influence of independent variable against the dependent variable and found that color, ornament, shape of the door-window and shape of roof (independent) gives 97,1% influence to the aesthetics of the Semi permanent house and based on the output coefficient SPSS obtained that the dependent variable has p-value < 0.05 which means independent variables have an effect on significant to aesthetic variable. For variables of semi permanent and wooden structure gives an effect of 98,6% to aesthetics and based on the result of SPSS coefficient it is found that free variable has p-value < 0.05 which means independent variables have an effect on significant to aesthetic variable.
Kancingan house is a house made of wood materials as its main structure but the walls are still made of bricks. The use of wood as the concrete-replacing materials is due to the relatively lower cost than the permanent structure made of concrete as the main structure since the concrete materials composed of high-quality sand and gravels are not available in Merauke City, so that the materials should be imported from other city, such as Palu or Surabaya City. This problem makes concrete expensive in Merauke City. This research aimed to analyze the Kancingan house in terms of the feasibility of its building structure. It is a quantitative research which was conducted by conducting field observation, image recapturing, and structure analysis by using SAP 2000. The results showed the Bending strength (σlt) ≤ ƒb' or σlt = 285,819 ≤ 1100 kg/cm2. For bending control, with a provision of ƒx ≤ ƒ permit (1/200 of the span), the structure of truss of kancingan house in this research is ƒx =12,64 mm ≤ 13,75. The tensile strength corrected in the truss is or T'= 7.28 tonnes. In the ring balk of the kancingan house building, the bending strength is greater than the maximum moment due to seismic load is or M'>M= 1795,2 Kg/m > 43,55kg/m. The 8/8 column meets the slenderness ratio of Le/d = 25 > 50 with a stability factor greater than the compressive strength works in column M'=179502 kg/m > M=43.55 kg/m and the magnitude of factored load imposed to the column is P'=11010,96 N.
Abstract-Lease house is one of the most residential which was built with gain less attention by comfort, as thermal comfort (temperature, humidity, solar radiation, etc) and activity comfort. All lease house's room was planned and designed without calculating the maximum quantity of room. It's just only impression that "the important thing is existing of the room". The purpose of this research is socializing the utilization of innovative furniture for increase support the comfortable of lease house in Merauke also make furniture that can be used in all of the rooms in lease house (except bathroom and water closet) by innovative furniture application. The result of this research is expected that will get an innovative furniture which effective, comfort, safe, healthy and efficient. The characteristic of this research is descriptive, evaluative and applicative. It means that collecting the data by observation, total population, age, height, weight, job measure, anthropometry measure (elbow high and vertical range, sitting motion, height) also literature study. Data analysis of this research is quantitative descriptive which using frequency tabulation also qualitative which using spatial pattern description. The average size of lease house for a unit in Merauke is 49 m2 which use standard furniture for a bedroom (bed, cupboard and desk) and only 20% space of lease house for circulation. S o, it will make the room becomes narrow. If we use innovative furniture, the space of lease house for circulation becomes 35%. It means that if we use innovative furniture, the circulation will increase 15% better than standard furniture. Furthermore, this circulation is so good for human, temperature also humidity in the lease house's room.
Pastor Bonus Middle Seminary, located in the YPPK Yos Sudarso High School complex in Merauke, currently does not have complete facilities in terms of space function and optimal building arrangement. Redesigning the Bonus Bonus Middle Seminary in Merauke is expected to be able to develop the existing seminary site area, so that it can meet the needs of facilities that are suitable for function and zoning. The purpose of this research is to redesign the Merauke Bonus Pastoral Seminary which prioritizes clarity of functions and zoning through a modern tropical architectural approach, as well as arranging building mass according to the site's shape by considering circulation. The method used in this study is the method of observation / direct observation to the location of the study, interviews with the seminary and Archdiocese of Merauke which provide direction for regional development and capacity building of seminary facilities. The results obtained are used as a reference for improving management facilities, educational facilities, talent talent facilities, religious facilities, residential facilities and service facilities. This design optimizes the lighting and natural airing of existing facilities by arranging the circulation and condition of the building against the tropical climate, so as to obtain a good design for the comfort of inner space and outside space.
