Untuk mendapatkan suatu informasi tentang bagaimana mendiagnosa penyakit dan hama pada tanaman mangga secara digital maka dibutuhkan suatu aplikasi dalam bentuk sistem pakar yang dapat mewakili seorang pakar yang ahli di bidangnya untuk memberikan solusi terhadap permasalahan tanaman mangga. Case Based Reasoning untuk mendiagnosa penyakit dan hama tanaman mangga menggunakan algoritma similaritas Sorgenfrei adalah sebuah sistem pakar yang dapat sebagai alat bantu untuk melakukan konsultasi tentang penyakit dan hama tanaman mangga. Untuk mengimplementasikan Case Based Reasoning diperlukan empat tahapan proses yaitu retrieve, reuse, revise, dan retain. Sistem yang telah memberikan hasil dari perhitungan dengan nilai paling tinggi yang akan dijadikan solusi penyakit dan hama tanaman mangga. Pada proses revise, sistem akan meninjau kembali hasil perhitungan penyakit tanaman mangga. Jika hasil tersebut kurang atau sama dengan 20 persen, maka sistem tidak akan memberikan solusi penyakit tanaman mangga, dikarenakan informasi berupa penyakit yang tidak memenuhi syarat akan masuk ke dalam tabel revise yang selanjutnya akan diperbaiki kembali oleh pakar untuk menemukan solusi yang tepat. Setelah proses revise selesai dan sudah ditemukan solusi yang benar-benar tepat barulah pakar mulai menambah aturan dengan memasukan data kasus baru yang sudah ditemukan solusinya proses inilah yang dinamakan dengan proses retain.

Creativity has an important role in teaching process. However, the students’ achievement are not realeased by the role of creative teachers. This study aims at exploring some factors that used by creative teachers in teaching speaking performance. As media and strategies are the crucial factors that used by the teachers to help the students understand the material easily. The qualitative study was applied in this research. The technique of collecting the data was an interview, and questionnaire from the English teachers in five schools in Surabaya. This study found that there were some factors that influenced the creative teachers in teaching speaking performance such as (1) media usage: powerpoint presentation, chunks of familiar pictures, attention-grabbing pictures, music ball, and eye-catching cup as well as some online exercise links; (2) strategies election: by performing ball and cup moving, “boom” counting, guessing game, chained word game and listening comprehension taken from Google translate recording; (3) lesson plan; (4) organize the material. In conclusion, the creative teachers applied some factors in teaching speaking performance to enhancing students speaking performance.

Smart Traffic Sign Games utilizes interactive surface technology, Smart Traffic Sign Games offers a uniqueness that is with interactivity and ease of play. Through Smart Traffic Sign Games, a desktop/computer app based game, now we no longer need a large space, easy application dissemination process, otherwise cheaper than having to build real traffic parks on outdoors. The concept of developing a traffic park on interactive surface transforms the classroom surface into an interactive/touch screen by creating a virtual traffic environment projected through the projector to the floor surface, through the help of the Wii Remote and infrared sensors mounted on toy cars. When the toy car is driven in accordance with the design games, it will appear some commands, warning, or prohibition know the traffic signs. When the toy car is run by the student and approaches one of the traffic signs, an audio will appear that explains the function and purpose of the traffic signs. If a toy car violates the rules of traffic signs, there will be audio explaining the warnings and restrictions. Smart Traffic Sign Games is also equipped with augmented reality technology that lies in the Guide Book to add interactivity and attractiveness by synergizing the real world with the digital world. It is expected that this application can support traffic learning in the 2013 curriculum.
