This research aimed to find out what teaching speaking techniques are used and the reasons for using the techniques by the tutors at Peace English Course, Pare, Kediri to overcome learners’ difficulties in speaking. The method of this research was a descriptive qualitative method. The researchers obtained the data by observing the three classes of speaking programs, interviewing the tutors of the three classes, and data documents from the Peace English Course. The finding of this research showed that the techniques applied by the tutors were Storytelling, conversation, presenting, problem-solving, discussion, debate, and speech. Story-telling and conversation were applied for the beginner level class while presentation, problem-solving, discussion, debate, and speech were applied for the advanced level class. The reasons for using the techniques were because they were considered fun and were able to make the learners practice more. For the learners who have difficulties in learning to speak, the tutors encourage and motivate them to practice more because every difficulty in the speaking learning process is considered to be easily solved by having more practice.

Daun pandan wangi (Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb.) merupakan genus pandanus dari suku Pandanaceae. Pandan wangi mengandung alkaloida, saponin, flavonoida, tanin, polifenol, fenil propanoid, dan zat warna, Antioksidan fenolik dapat digunakan untuk mencegah kerusakan akibat reaksi oksidasi pada makanan. Sediaan kosmetik yang paling sering digunakan untuk perawatan kulit adalah bentuk sediaan gel karna gel mudah menyebar dengan rata pada kulit dan tidak lengket.

In this pandemic situation, the learning process is replaced by online learning. Where in online learning, the teacher needs to work hard in teaching. So that online learning runs well. One way to do this in this pandemic situation is to use the teacher's creativity in making engaging online learning activities so that students can receive the material well. This study aims to determine teachers' creativity in making engaging online learning activities for English teachers in class IX at SMPN 1 Srengat. This study used a case study design with qualitative approach, and the design is used to dig deeper into teachers' creativity in making online learning activities used by English teachers. This study uses two instruments, and they are: the first instrument is interviewed, and the second instrument is documentation. The results showed that the grade IX English teacher at SMPN 1 Srengat was very creative in making online learning activities. For designing the online learning activities, the English teacher implemented four of criteria for creative teachers based on the theory of (Mulyana 2010): Fluency, Flexibility, Originality, and Elaboration. The English teacher also implements online learning activities proposed by (Jack, Chris, and Donald 2019), including Consulting, Interactive Lectures, Student presentations, Reading, and Self-Study.
