AbstractThis paperpresents two tools allowing a description andan analysis ofa teacher's speech in a didactic situation. This study concerns three Belgian french speaking Didaskalia -n 0 6 -1995 -pages 9-37 9 Nathalie ÉVRARD, Anne-Marie HUYNEN, Cécile DE BUEGER teachers at the secondary school level who introduce the concept of chemical equilibrium. The first approach consists in locating and counting used terms. In the secondapproach, we have lookedataschematic representation ofterms association carried out by teachers working with 16 to 17years old students.
