This study compares the résumé content preferences of Fortune 500 personnel administrators and business communication instructors. There is also a comparison of the current personnel administrators' résumé content preferences to earlier research findings.Business communication instructor résumé content preference rankings were very similar to the current Fortune 500 personnel administrator rankings. There was agreement on the relative importance of 60 of the 70 potential résumé content items. Statistically significant differences in rankings were found on 10 of the 70 items. For example, personnel administrators ranked job objective, grade point average, and reasons for leaving jobs significantly higher in importance than did the business communication instructors.The findings show a shifting in personnel administrators'preferences. They now want less personal information and more evidences of achievement and accomplishments in college and on the job.
The academics consider that due to the process of digitalization, the data collected by recording the digital traces became a valuable source to analyse various aspects of customer behaviours. In that context, the mobile traffic data exploration provides new insights in tourism market dynamics. Over time, it becomes crucial to approach both new frameworks and real-time monitoring systems to understand how the customer dynamics perceived over mobile traffic, shape the structure of tourism sector in order to make better planning decisions and improve management. Following the stated, the intention of this study is few, namely: (i) to highlight significant figures referring eu-28 digital environment, (ii) to present and elaborate Internet mobile trends, generally and referring hotel and travel agency area, and (iii) to strengthen the tourism managers' level of awareness regarding the role of mobile internet for business benefits. In research, both theoretical and empirical part, are reproduced secondary data of eu-28 country, mainly for Croatia and Slovenia respectively. In conclusion part are discussed perspectives of mobile internet in current digital environment, as well as its position within the hotel and travel agencies areas.
Daily use of mobile devices has become one of many living standards. The number of Internet users is increasing annually. Along with the mobile devices rising number, the need for responsive design also rises. The purpose of this research is threefold: firstly, to clarify, secondly, to explore, and thirdly, to discuss the role of mobile Internet in achieving tourism, particularly hotel strategic goals. The elaboration will be based on the mobile internet traffic history, in Croatia and globally. In the accordance with the above stated the authors collected the relevant data sample. Examples are: website visits, websites user conversions, share of realized reservations and transactions made on the websites via mobile devices to verify the significance of mobile Internet traffic for the tourism business. The research findings have the potential to contribute to the tourism manager's level of awareness regarding the role of mobile internet in tourism and hotel business. As additional contribution, it will be discussed the forthcoming perspectives of the mobile internet traffics and mobile internet future trend.
