This research aims to find out student assessments of the learning media used during the Covid-19 pandemic. We tested several learning media used, first is the WhatsApp group, zoom, and Learning Management System (LMS) used by campus. Descriptive statistic from 616 people (24.28% were male), we found that the use of text-based synchronus learning media was more desirable than the use of existing video or LMS. Positive ratings are mainly on the frequent use, effectiveness, flexibility, speed, and cheap. However, in terms of interactive abilities, clarity of information, and fun media, google meet combination with zoom better than other media trough synchrous audio-video communcation. In other hand, Campus’s LMS were lowest on mostly dimentions that used in this research. Keywords: LMS, effectiveness, pandemic
The purpose of this study was to find out the influence of demographic factors, internet use, and smartphone use on young adult digital literacy. This is a quantitative research. The research subjects were young adults aged between 18-24 years using convenience sampling so that 184 people were collected. The research instrument uses a digital literacy scale, The Questionnaire of Experiences Related to the Internet (TQERI) and The Questionnaire of Experiences Related to the Mobile Phone (TQERMP). Data collection was carried out online via Google form for 7 days in July 2022. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that partially only smartphone use had a significant effect on digital literacy (sig = .069) while internet use did not. But simultaneously, both significantly affect digital literacy (sig= .001). Both can predict 8.2% of digital literacy. The influencing demographic factor is sex, especially women who tend to have higher digital literacy than men (sig=.024, =-1.012). The demographic factor of the area of residence cannot predict the level of digital literacy (sig=.935, =-.182). Keywords: digital literacy, internet, smartphone, demographic
The lack of knowledge that students face in choosing their careers is one of the issues for those who want to continue their education. Vocational High School (SMK) graduates hope to get a job after graduation rather than continue their study. However, it does not preclude the possibility that they will continue their studies at the higher education level. Therefore, this training aims to enhance participants’ capacity to plan their career paths, particularly for higher education. The first step in the training process is distributing the material, followed by a workshop. A lecture introduces the subject matter, and a workshop setting involves participatory action research. The evaluation’s findings demonstrate that students’ knowledge and skills improve due to the training received, and they can better comprehend the career path they will eventually pursue. Telah terbukti bahwa banyak penghuni panti asuhan memiliki sedikit akses pada kesempatan mengembangkan keterampilannya. Tidak semua panti asuhan berusaha untuk mendorong kreativitas dan jiwa kewirausahaan anak-anaknya. Oleh karena itu, untuk mendorong jiwa kewirausahaan diperlukan suatu program yang dapat membantu meningkatkan kreativitas dan pengetahuan tentang kewirausahaan. Dengan bantuan proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini, anak-anak panti asuhan akan belajar cara membuat bunga flanel dan cara menjualnya. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan selama enam hari yang dibagi menjadi dua sub kegiatan yaitu pelatihan pembuatan bunga flanel dan pelatihan kewirausahaan yang meliputi materi pemasaran usaha. Workshop dipilih sebagai bentuk pelatihan membuat bunga flannel. Sedangkan dalam pelatihan kewirausahaan menggunakan studi kasus, teknik ceramah, dan brainstorming. Berdasarkan evaluasi ditemukan adanya pengetahuan terkait kewirausahaan yang termasuk tinggi dan muncul niat berwirausaha pada mayoritas peserta. Diharapkan akan ditambahkan lagi pengajaran dan pendampingan agar kegiatan ini lebih aplikatif bagi anak-anak dan lingkungan. It has been shown that many orphanage residents have little access to opportunities for skill development. Not all orphanages work to encourage the children's creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. Hence, in order to encourage an entrepreneurial spirit, we need a program that may help boost creativity and knowledge about entrepreneurship. With the help of this community service project, orphanage kids will learn how to make flannel flowers and how to sell them. Six days of this activity were divided into two sub-activities: instruction in producing flannel flowers and training in entrepreneurship, which included materials for business marketing. Workshops and tutoring are the main training options for making flannel flowers. Lecture is used in entrepreneurship training. Case studies, lecture techniques, and brainstorming are all used in entrepreneurship training. According to the activity's findings, most participants had the goal to start their own business and had a high level of entrepreneurial expertise. It is hoped that further instruction and mentoring would be added to make this activity more applicable to kids and the environment.
Sobat Ambyar merupakan salah satu fenomena yang sangat menarik mengingat kelompok fans biasanya terbentuk sejak awal seorang artis tersebut tenar. Berbeda dengan kelompok fans lain, Sobat Ambyar muncul ketika ada momen khusus yang meledak dengan salah satu konser dan menjadi viral dimedia sosial. Selain itu, Sobat Ambyar merupakan identitas yang melekat pada seseorang, terlepat dia tergabung dalam komunitas atau tidak. Maka, untuk melihat perbedaan dan bagaimana individu-individu mengidentifikasikan dirinya sebagai Sobat Ambyar dan melekatkan identitas tersebut pada diri mereka, maka penelitian ini dilaksanakan, terlebih istilah Sobat Ambyar merupakan identitas yang muncul dari media sosial. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap inisiator Sobat Ambyar, ketua Sobat Ambyar Jakarta (SAJ), dan Komandan Sobat Ambyar. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan inisiasi kelompok, tata nilai, pengakuan anggota, dan struktur yang berbeda, serta beberapa hal lain sedikit berbeda dimana SAJ memiliki tata kelola yang lebih terstruktur dan sedikit lebih kompleks dibandingkan kelompok Sobat Ambyar yang ada di Solo sebagai pusat. Hal ini dikarenakan latar belakang dan dinamika organisasi yang juga lebih kompleks.
