The main purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between students' entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial mindset as well as understanding the mediating role of attitude and self-efficacy. The approach adopted in this study is a convenience random sampling method, which is widely used in entrepreneurship research. Participants were recruited from several universities in Malang of East Java in Indonesia undergoing an online survey and were calculated using structural equation modeling (SEM). The findings of this current study indicate that entrepreneurship education successfully influences entrepreneurial self-efficacy, entrepreneurial attitude, and the entrepreneurial mindset. On the other hand, entrepreneurial self-efficacy promotes entrepreneurial attitude instead of the entrepreneurial mindset. Furthermore, entrepreneurial attitude plays an essential role in mediating both entrepreneurship education and self-efficacy toward students' entrepreneurial mindset.
This research investigates the effect of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention among college students enrolling in the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Malang. The research employed descriptive correlational design, and a number of 230 students are taken proportionate randomly as sample from 540 students enrolled in three study programs. Path analysis utilizing LISREL 8.50 for windows is used to examine relationships among variables. Research finding revealed that entrepreneurial intention is indirectly affected by entrepreneurship education, meaning that students' entrepreneurial motivation and attitude are two important mediating variables.
Tujuan dari pembuatan jurnal ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana masyarakat di Desa Teluk Papal meningkatkan perekonomiannya. Dan penulisan jurnal ini dilakukan untuk menyusun tugas akhir dari kerja nyata tim dosen Universitas Riau. Dalam meningkatkan perekonomian, masyarakat di Desa Teluk Papal memiliki usaha. Salah satunya adalah usaha manufaktur atau produksi pembuatan keripik bakso dari ikan sebagai bahan bakunya. Pengelolaan keripik bakso ini berpengaruh terhadap kewirausahaan masyarakat Desa Teluk Papal dan dapat menjadi salah satu inovasi usaha baru, untuk siap diproduksi dan dipasarkan.
The development of increasingly advanced technology and information at this time is still not fully understood by the community, especially among rural communities. This is indicated by the lack of innovation by residents on cassava and opaque food products which are abundant in their region which they do not realize what potential can be created from these food products. Food products Cassava and Opak are generally food products which are only processed into monotonous products such as tape, jemblem, blend, fried cassava and opaque crackers. So that people feel bored with various monotony of cassava, but on the other hand when processed into various variants of processed cassava well will have a positive impact on being a product that is quality, quality, competitive and of economic value. The community service program initiated by the Al-Anwar College of Economics aims to increase the knowledge and understanding of rural communities to have a high awareness of the concern for the use of abundant cassava from low value to competitive superior products. The methods of implementation are (1) community empowerment with innovation activities processed cassava raw materials, (2) counseling on the management of cassava into JEJUKO "chocolate cheese jemblem", (3) training on the manufacture of superior products JEJUKO and OPAK spicy, (4) counseling about effective marketing methods to the community. This activity involved all the people of the village of Bleberan, Jatirejo sub-district, Mojokerto and assisted by experts from the health office. The results of this activity showed that there was an increase in knowledge and interest in learning from the community to utilize abundant cassava raw materials in the village to be processed with high economic value and finally able to help the economy and improve the quality of life of the villagers.
This study aims to investigate the determinants that influence youth in preparing for entrepreneurship in Indonesia. A quantitative approach was applied, using a cross-sectional survey with 425 young entrepreneur respondents in East Java. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The findings showed that entrepreneurial intentions can be explained by the institutional environment and can provide motivation to start a business. This study confirmed the strong correlation between motivation to start a business and entrepreneurial intentions in preparing for entrepreneurship programs.
