This research aims to describe the effectiveness and benefits of the Learning Management System (LMS) on the In-network Learning System (SPADA) based on scientific. This is a quantitative-typed research with the one-group pretestposttest design. Using the purposive sampling technique, the sample was taken from the participants of the madrasa Teacher Profession Education (PPG) within the position at the IAIN (State Islamic Institute) Salatiga, Indonesia, in 2019. The results of the research showed that: (1) the assessment of the participants of PPG in the position of Madrasa teacher, which was as much as 30 people, said that the LMS on the SPADA was easy to conduct, practical, and effective; (2) the scientificbased LMS was in the menu of formative (observing) test, discussion (questioning, discussing, reasoning) forum, and final assignment (attempting); (3) test of Wilcoxon, Z =-4.75 with the significance (p) = 0.000 < 0.05, in summary that the scientific-based LMS on the SPADA was effective on the results of the pedagogical material summative learning of the participants of Madrasa PPG at the IAIN Salatiga, Indonesia.
Latar belakang: Laboratorium Rumah Sakit merupakan unit pelayanan penunjang yang memiliki risiko aspek keselamatan dan kesehatan yang sangat besar. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di laboratorium Rumah Sakit. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Subyek penelitian adalah Ahli Teknologi Laboratorium Kesehatan (ATLM) yang bekerja di Rumah Sakit. Data didapat dari angket yang diisi melalui google formulir dengan 5 kelompok pertanyaan yaitu: lingkungan kerja, habituasi kerja, kesehatan kerja, kecelakaan kerja dan pendidikan/pelatihan. Hasil: Kepatuhan cuci tangan dan penggunaan APD lebih dari 80%. Angka kecelakaan kerja masih tinggi yaitu: 12 orang pernah tertusuk jarum, 10 orang tertumpah B3 dan infeksius serta kebakaran dialami 2 responden. Sebanyak 90,47% tidak dilakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan berkala dan 71,43% tidak mendapat vaksin hepatitis B. Petugas laboratorium sebesar 80,95% telah mendapat pelatihan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Rumah Sakit (K3RS). Kesimpulan: Pelaksanaan keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja di laboratorium Rumah Sakit belum sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik.
This research aims (1) to determine the description of learning difficulties and the percentage of supporting and inhibiting factors for learning hematology in the COVID-19 pandemic era, (2) to determine the success rate of learning hematology in the COVID-19 pandemic era. This research is a qualitative descriptive type, with research subjects from D4 Analyst students at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang who study hematology. This data collection was carried out from February to March 2021. Data were collected from a questionnaire via Google Form. Based on the results of the study, the following findings were obtained: 1) description and percentage of supporting and inhibiting factors for hematology learning difficulties as follows: (1) health factors (53.33%), (2) cognitive factors (60%), (3) interest factors (50%). The average internal factor of hematology learning difficulties is 54,44% in the medium category. While the percentage of external factors of learning difficulties in hematology are as follows: (1) family factors (46.67%), (2) living place conditions (46.67%), (3) facilities (48.89%), (4) learning materials (54%). The average external factor of hematology learning difficulties is 49.06% in the medium category, 2) the success rate of learning hematology in the COVID-19 pandemic era with an average of 61.73 (medium). The study results can contribute in the form of information on the description of the factors of learning difficulties in the Hematology course in the COVID-19 pandemic era as a basis for finding solutions.
Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is damage in the brain caused by a traumatically injuring external force. The severity of TBI can be determined by Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) and Computed Tomography (CT) scan. However, due to the heightened concerns about use of CT scan, an objective laboratory-based predictor of significant TBI is needed. The level of plasma crosslinked fibrin degradation products (D-dimer) after TBI has been promoted as prognostic factor for an intracranial hemorrhage injury. The aim of this study was to evaluate the correlation between plasma D-dimer level and GCS score in patients with TBI. This was an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. Subjects were TBI patients who came to the Department of Emergency, Dr. Sardjito General Hospital, Yogyakarta and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The severity of TBI of patients was measured using the GCS which included the assessment of eye opening, motoric response, and verbal response. Supporting examinations including radiological (CT scan) and laboratory examination were also conducted. The plasma D-dimer level was measured using an immunofiltration method from NycoCard ® D-Dimer. The results showed that a significant negative correlations between D-dimer level (r =-0.622; p = 0.000), neutrophil (r =-0.336; p = 0.034) and partial thromboplastin time (PTT) (r =-0.591; r = 0.000) of subjects and GCS score were observed. Conversely, a significant positive correlation was shown between haemoglobin (r = 0.419; p = 0.007) and GCS score. Furthermore, a significant negative correlations were observed between haemoglobin (r =-0.517; p = 0.001), platelets (r =-0.340; p = 0.032) and D-dimer level. Otherwise, a significant positive correlation was observed between PPT levels (r = 0.527; p = 0.000) of subjects and D-dimer level. In conclusion, there is a negative correlation between plasma D-dimer level and GCS in patients with TBI.
