Uterus subseptus, a common uterine anomaly, can be detected by ultrasound examination. In this series it was detected only during the second trimester of pregnancy. The reasons for this are discussed, and it is concluded that although ultrasound can be used to detect these anomalies, it is not sufficiently sensitive to supplant hysterography.
SUMMARYEndobronchial lipomas are relatively rare with approximately 40 reported in the English literature. Patients may present with wheezing, persistent cough or a history of recurrent pneumonia. The chest radiograph usually will demonstrate collapse, occasionally with associated consolidation distal to the lesion. Our case demonstrates the classic roentgenographic findings and represents only the second case of an endobronchial lipoma in the bronchus intermedins.
