Ultrasound demonstration of uterus subseptus

Abstract: Uterus subseptus, a common uterine anomaly, can be detected by ultrasound examination. In this series it was detected only during the second trimester of pregnancy. The reasons for this are discussed, and it is concluded that although ultrasound can be used to detect these anomalies, it is not sufficiently sensitive to supplant hysterography.
