AbstractThis study aimed to evaluate the effects of replacing dried milk (DM) for micronized soybean (MS) and micronized soybean and enzyme b-mannanase (MSE) on animal performance and economic analysis. Thirty six male piglets, weaned 21 days of age, with an average initial weight of 6.41 ± 0.52 kg, were used in randomized blocks with three treatments and twelve replicates. The diets were divided into three phases: 0 to 14 days, 14 to 28 days and 28-42 days of the experimental period. For performance, the daily feed intake (DFI), daily weight gain (DWG) and feed conversion (FC) were evaluated. It also evaluated the economic viability. During 0-14 days, MS differed (P<005) from MSE to DFI, DM differed (P<0.05) from MS to DWG and FC. In 14-28 days there was a difference (P<0.05) among DM and other treatments for DWG. In phase 28-42 days, there was no difference (P>0.05) among treatments. Considering all the parameters in the total experimental period (0 to 42 days), the DWG was higher (P<0.05) for DM and MSE compared to MS, and FC was lower (P<0.05) for DM compared to the others. In economic evaluation replacing DM by MS and MSE decreased cost. It is concluded that the substitution of dried milk by micronized soybeans with adding the enzyme is possible, considering the period of 42 days post weaning. The enzime b-mannanase with micronized soybean improves the performance of post weaning piglets in 0-14 days post weaning. Economically, the use of micronized soybean...
