<p>O presente artigo se propõe a pensar a relação entre economia e sociedade em tempos de pandemia. O artigo inicia com (I) um diagnóstico crítico-analítico das causas e razões do <em>divórcio entre economia e sociedade</em>, identificando suas origens históricas e, ao mesmo tempo, buscando esclarecer como opera sua lógica na forma do neoliberalismo contemporâneo e como ela está em contradição com a democracia e, mesmo, com os próprios valores liberais. Em seguida (II), refletimos sobre as consequências do divórcio entre economia e sociedade, cujas insustentabilidades geradas serão analisadas tanto no nível macro-estruturante – ambientais, sócio-econômicas e políticas –, como no nível meso- e microssocial – territoriais e subjetivas. Por fim (III), passamos para as “notas propositivas” a favor de uma retomada da relação entre economia e sociedade, onde propomos reformulações conceituais e analíticas aptas para abrir um horizonte de sociedade do pós-bem estar social e também para formular, operacionalmente, um desenho de políticas públicas voltadas para o desenvolvimento solidário de territórios.</p>
La población brasileña ha estado en el fuego cruzado de drásticas alternativas binarias entre el aislamiento social y la movilización negacionista, generando una creciente ansiedad ya que no se ve una solución para la pandemia a mediano plazo. Por un lado, vemos la campaña de "quedarse en casa" y el confinamiento social, que busca evitar la propagación acelerada del coronavirus, invitando a los individuos a asumir la responsabilidad individual y colectiva de la salud pública y siguiendo las recomendaciones científicas y sanitarias. Por otro lado, vemos la campaña "Brasil no puede parar", que predica la reanudación de la "normalidad" de la vida y el trabajo, minimizando los riesgos de la pandemia y siguiendo las orientaciones negacionistas del bolsonarismo.De esta manera, es necesario identificar los diferentes grupos sociales que abogan por la reanudación de las actividades socioeconómicas - o que simplemente desobedecen la política de aislamiento social - y comprender cuáles son sus motivaciones y razones. Para ello, vale la pena recordar, con el sociólogo Max Weber, que no es necesario ser César, ni aceptar las razones de César, para entender a César. Sólo a partir de esto podemos no sólo entender por qué el Gobierno de Bolsonaro mantiene fieles seguidores en partes significativas de la población, que entiende que él actúa bien en medio de la pandemia. Solo a partir de esto podemos igualmente proponer críticamente las condiciones y formas en que es posible una política instrumentalmente efectiva y moral y políticamente legítima para combatir la pandemia del nuevo coronavirus.
Nous vivons dans une société qui, tel un Titanic à la rencontre de son iceberg, persiste à accélérer vers une catastrophe incontrôlable. Les différents signes de la « grande accélération » de l’ère de l’Anthropocène s’accumulent sans cesse. Aurions-nous enfin acquis, avec la pandémie, une (nouvelle) sensibilité aux avertissements constants qui, souvent par lanceurs d’alerte, résonnent avec l’émergence du « nouveau régime climatique » ? Face à la folie de notre temps, c’est d’abord de la perplexité qu’affiche l’anthropologue et philosophe Bruno Latour. On propose de réfléchir ici aux défis actuels en dialogue avec la pensée de Latour sur la mutation écologique, notamment avec ses arguments présents dans deux de ses ouvrages, Face à Gaïa et Où atterrir ?. Nous présentons son diagnostic du temps et ses propositions scientifiques, esthétiques et politiques, en montrant comment il entrelace les fils les plus divers de savoirs − science, politique, religion, esthétique, guerre – pour recomposer le monde et rendre la paix possible.
