Makanan pertama yang alami untuk bayi adalah ASI, ASI mengandung semua nutrisi dan energi yang sangat dibutuhkan oleh bayi pada bulan pertama kehidupan. Pada masa Post Partum masalah yang sering terjadi salah satunya adalah mengeluhkan ASI kurang, sehingga bayi kurang puas pada saat disusui, sehingga bayi menolak menyusu atau sering menangis, gagalnya pemberian ASI pada bayi sering diakibatkan payudara ibu tidak membesar Angka cakupan ASI eksklusif di Provinsi Sulawesi Tenggara baru mencapai 35,01%, dan di wilayah Kabupaten Kolaka baru mencapai 40,1%. Masalah utama pada bayi usia 0-23 bulan belum/tidak pernah disusui adalah karena ASI tidak keluar dan ASI tidak cukup (65,7%). Sekitar 33,3% bayi yang berumur 0-5 bulan telah diberikan susu formula (84,5%). Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor – factor yang mempengaruhi produksi ASI pada ibu menyusui di RSB Harifa Kabupaten Kolaka. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah ibu menyusui berjumlah 100 orang. Desain penelitian ini adalah studi analitik kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Hasil penelitian didapatkan, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara pola makan (p value = 0,021), pola istirahat (p value = 0,009), dukungan suami (p value = 0,005), teknik menyusui (p value = 0,021) penggunaan ASI Booster (p value = 0,025) dengan produksi ASI.Keluaran dari penelitian ini diharapkan bidan dapat menggali faktor yang dapat menjadi penyebab terganggunya produksi ASI dan dapat memberikan konseling yang tepat pada ibu dan keluarga.
