This study aims to design and compose a fairy tale script about landslide disaster preparedness, design and make pop up book about landslide disaster preparedness, and to know effectiveness of storytelling method with Pop Up Book media in education of landslide disaster preparedness. The research method used is experimental method. Sampling is done by purposive sampling technique in low class, while data collection in this research through observation, interview and questionnaire. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and N-Gain analysis. The results show the design and the composition of fairy tale script suitable for children of early childhood Dewi Sartika District Bergas. The design and making of the pop up book is adjusted to the text of the fairy tale and considering the elements of motion and the three dimensional elements, and the effectiveness of the application of storytelling method with the media Pop up book in education for landslide disaster preparedness for PAUD students Dewi Sartika Kecamatan Bergas included in the effective category with the gain of 0.528 or in the moderate effectiveness category.
Bertambahnya kebutuhan akan lahan menyebabkan ekspansi manusia ke area-area hijau untuk melakukan pembangunan pemukiman. Kegiatan pembangunan tersebut akan memberikan dampak terhadap kerusakan lahan di wilayah DAS Kreo Kota Semarang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mengetahui dampak pembangunan pemukiman di sekitar kota Semarang kerusakan lahan DAS Kreo; (2) Mengetahui cara mengkonservasi lahan di DAS Kreo supaya tidak rusak. Metode penelitian dilakukan metode survei. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di DAS Kreo Kota Semarang dan sekitarnya. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, pengukuran lapangan, dokumentasi, pemetaan sistem informasi geografis. Teknik analisis data analisis spasial berbasis SIG, analisis deskriptif kuantitatif, dan analisis metode tabel silang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kerusakan lahan yang ada di DAS Kreo termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi. Hal ini disebabkan karena pembangunan Waduk Jatibarang selain itu juga faktor geofisik seperti kemiringan lereng, geologi, tanah, penggunaan lahan, dan curah hujan yang tinggi. Semarang is one of the cities with many threats of natural disasters that have an impact on human life, can bring harm and can also be good. One of the natural disasters that often occurs and has a direct impact on human life is flood disaster. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of flooding from 2020-2021 in Semarang City and changes in the socioeconomic conditions of people affected by floods and people affected by Covid-19. This study used several data collection methods including a survey of topographical conditions and also interviewing respondents related to socio-economic conditions. The research was conducted in the city of Semarang as a potential flood area. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, the criteria for the age of 18-39 years or commonly referred to as the millennial generation. Field observations were carried out with guided questionnaires to collect data on the role of the government, community, private sector and non-governmental organizations in flood management. Data were analyzed based on demographics, areas, and understanding of flood disasters. After that the data is processed and processed into spatial data so that it can be in the form of vulnerability maps and flood disaster preparedness levels in the city of Semarang. Results of the study it can be concluded that the area of flooding in the city of Semarang in 2020-2021 is 24,443 hectares and the category of disaster risk is classified as having a high impact on the socio-economic conditions of the community.
Research on the evaluation of teacher professionalism competence on geography and ips subjects in smp n 1 karimunjawa, mts safinatul huda karimunjawa and ma nu safinatul huda karimunjawa aims to know the level of professionalism of geography teacher and ips at karimunjawa island schools especially in smp n 1 karimunjawa, mts safinatul huda karimunjawa and ma nu safinatul huda karimunjawa and constraints faced by geography teachers and ips in building professional competence. The competency indicators used for this research are pedagogical, professional, personality and social competence. The result of professional competence of teacher of geography and ips in karimunjawa categorized as competent. Constraints faced by teachers to improve professional competence include lack of school infrastructure and media used for classroom learning. Suggestion in this research is that school is expected to improve facility to support teacher performance so as to achieve professional competence of geography teacher and ips to be better. Teachers are expected to be able to develop their performance and meet teacher standards by increasing knowledge insight in the field that is experienced through teacher education training.
This research was conducted with the aim to determine the distribution of agricultural areas affected by the eruption of Volcano Merapi and how the forms of mitigation and adaptation of farming communities in Sleman Regency. The study was conducted in the agricultural land area in Sleman Regency which began with conducting a survey in the field to obtain data related to the area of agricultural land affected and potentially affected by the Merapi eruption, then the research team conducted interviews with farmers regarding the impact of eruption on agricultural land. Not to forget, the research team will also calculate the losses incurred. The next step taken by the research team is processing measurement data, imagery, and maps to produce new maps. These steps will lead to the publication of disaster mitigation studies on the eruption of Volcano Merapi for agricultural land in Sleman Regency. Conclusion This research is an effort to increase the capacity of communities around Volcano Merapi if at one time they face an eruption disaster in general, still at a low level, mitigation of structural and non-structural disasters in the disaster of eruption in general is not optimal. Physical development in the effort to reduce disaster risk is still not available, as well as non-structural mitigation efforts through awareness and education efforts are also not good categories.
