Trata-se de uma pequena exposição do levantamento e da categorização dos filmes lançados pelo cinema Estadunidense no período inicial da pandemia da AIDS nos Estados Unidos nas décadas de 1980 e 1990. Realizamos uma pesquisa exploratória que resultou no mapeamento e no resgate de obras cuja distribuição e o potencial comercial foram negligenciados pelo interesse das distribuidoras; muitas dessas obras sequer tiveram lançamento em DVD no Brasil. O interesse na pandemia de AIDS e a eventual divulgação dessas obras em cinema e locadoras de VHS e DVD da época foi um fenômeno restrito ao período estudado, apesar da pandemia ter se mantido até dos dias atuais. O interesse atual do cinema estadunidense parece ser o de resgatar esses primeiros anos numa revisão crítica contemporânea. Como nossa análise dissertativa foca no período estabelecido entre as décadas já citadas, de imediato percebemos uma relevante sequência de mudanças no perfil sociológico dos protagonistas das tramas fílmicas. Ressaltou aos olhos também as transformações narrativas acerca das dificuldades de tratamento e da luta dos movimentos sociais organizados LGBTS neste artigo iremos apresentar brevemente alguns aspectos centrais dessa nossa percepção em duas obras cinematográficas emblemáticas do período.
Esta pesquisa teve a finalidade de analisar a escola e sua contribuição no processo de formação dos estudantes, com base na Teoria das Representações Sociais, e como as instituições formadoras têm contribuído com o movimento histórico de transformação dessa formação. Buscamos, assim, compreender e caracterizar o espaço de construção do conhecimento que é partilhado pelos estudantes do ensino médio das redes de ensino público e particular de Pernambuco. Para a coleta e análise dos dados utilizamos um questionário com perguntas abertas e fechadas. Participaram da amostra 100 estudantes matriculados no ensino médio em 2021. Quanto aos resultados, observamos o seguinte: as áreas do conhecimento indicadas como as melhores e piores de estudar foram biologia (24%) preferida; e matemática (32%) preterida. O que mais os estudantes apreciam na escola eles apontaram com significativo destaque a aprendizagem e a socialização. Em relação ao impacto da pandemia e ao modelo de aula remota, quando interrogados se “A escola está fazendo falta para você?”, 83% apontaram que sim; e “Como é assistir aula remota?”, a resposta foi “É difícil e eu não gosto” (42%), e quanto à autoavaliação de desempenho em 2021, 50% dos estudantes declararam que estavam abaixo da média.
