Uric acid is the result of production by the body, so its quality can be normal in the blood and urine. However, the rest of the protein metabolism of foods containing purines also produces uric acid. One variable that impacts uric acid levels is the knowledge a person has so that a better lifestyle can be improved by providing health education. This research purpose is to establish the effect of health education on knowledge and adherence to the gout diet on gout arthritis patient. Pre-experimental with One group pretest-posttest design has been used in this research. Forty-five respondents were collected using total sampling and a questionnaire was used to measure the data. The analysis data using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed that the significance value (p-value) is about 0.000 <0.05 which indicate that there is an effect of health education on knowledge and adherence. It can be deduced there is an effect of health education on knowledge and adherence to diet for gout arthritis patients.
The condition that is often experienced by students is gastritis. Gastritis is one of the disorders of the digestive system that occurs due to an imbalance of stomach acid; gastritis often occurs if the diet is irregular, such as in students who have to go to college every morning. Some students sometimes don't have time to have breakfast which causes a person to experience stomach ache or gastritis. Gastritis can be a serious problem for students/adolescents, be it acute gastritis or chronic gastritis that students can experience. One of the causes of gastritis is a poor diet, not having breakfast before going to college. To minimize gastric disturbances or gastritis, of course, the role of health workers is required to provide health education or health literacy so that students understand what must be done to prevent gastritis. The purpose of this PKM is to prevent and minimize the occurrence of gastritis in students/adolescents. The method used in this service is in the form of health education or health counseling aimed at students, how to measure the level of understanding of the material provided is then carried out pretest and posttest. The results of community service in the form of an increase in the level of student knowledge about gastritis were strengthened by the results of the Wilcoxon test p value 0.001, p value <0.05, there was an effect of health literacy about gastritis on the level of student knowledge about gastritis.
Kadar gula darah yang tidak terkontrol pada penderita diabetes dapat menimbulkan berbagai komplikasi, salah satunya masalah pembuluh darah dan saraf yang akan berujung pada ulkus kaki diabetik/ulkus diabetik. Ulkus kaki diabetik merupakan komplikasi kronis dari diabetes yang muncul sebagai luka terbuka pada permukaan kulit, yang dapat disertai dengan kematian jaringan lokal. Perawatan luka kaki diabetik yang tepat merupakan tindakan pencegahan kedua setelah manajemen diabetes itu sendiri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan peran keluarga dalam perawatan luka dengan kecepatan penyembuhan luka pada pasien ulkus diabetikum di rawat jalan Rumah Sakit Umum Dr. R. Soedjono Selong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional untuk melakukan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 15 responden yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan aksidendal sampling. Analisis statistik dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Rank Spearman dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95% (α = 0,05). Untuk angket peran keluarga, proporsi angket mendapatkan peran keluarga baik adalah 73,3%. Kemudian diketahui lukanya sembuh dengan sangat cepat, mencapai 40%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara peran keluarga dalam perawatan luka dengan kecepatan penyembuhan luka pada penderita diabetes ulseratif, dengan nilai 0,009 kurang dari 0,05. Pelayanan kesehatan rumah sakit khususnya perawatan luka oleh perawat hendaknya tetap melibatkan pasien dan keluarganya dalam asuhan keperawatan Dr. R. Soedjono Selong.
