O presente artigo tem como finalidade, a partir da relação entre Cinema e Direito, apresentar uma discussão sobre a ideia de “irmão salvador”. Para tanto, utilizou-se o filme Uma Prova de Amor, o qual aborda uma problemática real e contemporânea que carece de atenção por parte de estudiosos do Direito. O filme narra fatos que podem ser interpretados como violações à dignidade da pessoa humana e a direitos de personalidade. Desta forma, objetiva-se uma reflexão crítica sobre o tema, à luz da promoção e efetivação de preceitos constitucionalmente assegurados.
RESUMOO artigo consiste no estudo das técnicas de reprodução humana e engenharia genética, analisando aspectos éticos e possíveis repercussões jurídicas. Dentre as polêmicas, destaca-se a possibilidade de seleção embrionária visando à escolha de características estéticas -"designer babies" -, bem como a seleção com finalidade terapêutica, além dos critérios para a diferenciação dessas hipóteses. Nesse cenário, ressalta-se a importância da Bioética e do Biodireito frente aos problemas que emergem e à possibilidade de ressignificações que alguns direitos podem assumir perante a sociedade contemporânea que usufrui, cada vez mais, de técnicas que podem dar uma nova face às futuras gerações.

"DESIGNER BABIES": BIOETHICS ASPECTS OF EMBRYONIC SELECTION IN ASSISTED HUMAN REPRODUCTION.
ABSTRACTThe article consists of the study of the techniques of human reproduction and genetic engineering, analyzing ethical aspects and possible legal repercussions. Among the controversies, we highlight the possibility of embryonic selection aiming at the choice of aesthetic characteristics -designer babies -as well for therapeutic purposes, besides the criteria for the differentiation of these hypotheses. In this scenario, the importance of Bioethics is highlighted in the face of the problems that arise and the possibility of resignificances that some rights may assume before contemporary society that increasingly enjoys techniques that can give a new face to future generations.

Para tal fim, utilizou-se o filme "Bicho de Sete Cabeças", o qual reflete uma realidade atual e levanta problemas que precisam ser discutidos no âmbito jurídico, tendo em vista o risco de violação de direitos assegurados pela Constituição Federal. "BICHO DE SETE CABEÇAS": DISCOURSES AND SOCIAL CONSTRUCTIONS REGARDING THE DRUG USE AND COMPULSORYHOSPITALIZATION.
ABSTRACTThe purpose of this article is to identify the existing discourses and social constructions about drug issues and compulsory hospitalization, based on the relationship between Cinema and Law, as well as an interdisciplinary approach. For this purpose, was used the film "Bicho de Sete Cabeças", which reflects a current reality and raises problems that need to be discussed, in view of the risk of violation of rights guaranteed by the Federal Constitution. In this way, it is sought to critically reflect on the themes and to stimulate the debate with a view to promoting the rights of socially stigmatized groups.
