The aim of this study was to describe the nursing professionals' opinion on the nursing process, in order to base the actions of the implementation of the process in our institution. This is a qualitative study, carried out during an action research with the nursing staff of a pediatric teaching hospital. The nursing process is designed as a tool to organize care and prescribe nursing care. Work routines show the technical activities. Expectations with the implementation of nursing process involve improving the quality of care. The study reinforces the importance of including members of the nursing staff in the implementation stage of the nursing process and shows the challenge of facing the tecnicists routines.
Objetivo: analisar, a partir da experiência de primíparas, a relação entre a assistência recebida durante o parto normal e o pós-parto imediato e seus reflexos na amamentação. Método: qualitativo, descritivo, aprovado pelo Comitê de Ética, realizado em um Centro de Parto Normal, do polo Petrolina-Juazeiro, em 2018. Participaram 17 primíparas, através de entrevista semiestruturada, sendo os dados submetidos a análise temática de conteúdo. Resultados: a amamentação ocorreu positivamente, pois esse lócus é apropriado para essa prática, favorecendo-a de maneira natural. O apoio e a compreensão são primordiais e devem superar uma assistência focada apenas em informações rápidas, técnicas e generalizadas. Conclusão: os anseios e particularidades de cada puérpera precisam ser respeitados e atendidos, valorizando o investimento em políticas de saúde que enfatizem o cuidado humanizado para cada mulher. Logo, a educação em saúde precisa estabelecer reflexão, discussão e aprendizado nesse processo que transcende o biológico.
RESUMOObjetivo: analisar o conhecimento dos enfermeiros da Emergência e Unidade de Terapia Intensiva em relação ao manejo do paciente em Morte Encefálica. Método: estudo quantitativo, descritivo, exploratório com 18 enfermeiros. Os dados foram coletados utilizando questionário estruturado a partir das diretrizes da Associação de Medicina Intensiva Brasileira e apresentados em tabelas. Resultados: os enfermeiros demonstraram conhecimento favorável sobre os aspectos gerais e suporte hemodinâmico, dentre eles: limites de temperatura, metas pressóricas, agentes vasopressores utilizados e a indicação de reanimação. Em relação ao controle endócrino/metabólico e aos aspectos hematológicos e infecciosos, destaca-se conhecimento apenas acerca da suspensão da dieta enteral e sobre o uso de antibioticoterapia. Conclusão: o conhecimento dos enfermeiros entrevistados acerca do manejo com o potencial doador é deficitário, sendo necessárias capacitações a respeito do tema. ABSTRACT Objective: to analyze the knowledge of nurses of the Emergency and Intensive Care Unit in the management of the patient in Brain Death. Method: this is a quantitative, descriptive, exploratory study of 18 nurses. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire based on guidelines of the Brazilian Intensive Medicine Association and presented in tables. Results: nurses demonstrated favorable knowledge about the general aspects and hemodynamic support such as temperature limits, blood pressure goals, vasopressors used and the indication of resuscitation. Regarding the endocrine/metabolic control and the hematological and infectious aspects, it is important to know only the suspension of the enteral diet and the use of antibiotic therapy. 13 Resumo Objetivo: Conhecer o perfil dos usuários atendidos na sala vermelha de um Hospital Universitário de Pernambuco. Métodos: Estudo descritivo, exploratório e quantitativo, realizado no setor do atendimento de emergência de um Hospital Universitário de Pernambuco, utilizando como fonte de dados o Livro de Registro dos atendimentos diários, coletados de janeiro a junho de 2013. Os dados foram organizados em uma planilha no programa Microsoft Office Excel ® 2010. Logo após, foram apresentados em gráfico e tabelas, confrontando os resultados com a literatura. Resultados: A maioria dos pacientes atendidos é do sexo masculino, entre 20 e 29 anos, procedentes da mesma cidade, onde está localizado o hospital, e vítimas de causas externas, principalmente acidentes motociclísticos. Conclusões: A população economicamente ativa foi a mais atingida pelas causas externas, o que pode desencadear despesas elevadas para o Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). ARTIGO ORIGINAL DE TEMA LIVRE PERFIL DOS USUÁRIOS ATENDIDOS NO SERVIÇO Abstract Objective: To be aware of the profile of the patients cared in the emergency room of the University Hospital of Pernambuco. Methods: DA descriptive, exploratory and quantitative study. We carried out this research in the emergency room of the University Hospital of Pernambuco, usinged as a source the visitor registration book, with datacollected collected from January to June 2013 sector. The selected variables were organizedin a Microsoft Office Excel 2010 spreadsheet in Microsoft Office Excel 2010 program. Shortly after, those data were presented in graphic and tables comparing the results with the literature. Results: The majority of cared patients seen is male, ranging from 20 to 29 years old, coming from the same city where the hospital is located, and victims of external causes, especially motorcycle accidents. Conclusions: The economically active population was the most affected by external causes, which may triggering higher costs for the Unified HealthSystem (SUS). We hoped that this study will serves as an input for the implementation deployments of municipal and regional health public policiesy.
Aim: to analyze the attention on health care employed by nurses at the reproductive planning, by family health teams from Juazeiro, Bahia. Method: qualitative, exploratory and descriptive study in which was used semi-structured interview with eight nurses from five Family Health Units, with the largest number of women at childbearing age. Results: scarcity and irregularity in the supply of the methods emerged, compromising the effectiveness and quality of reproductive planning. The instability of the educational activities pointed at women and/or couples uninformed about the use and benefits of these methods, revealing self-medication and search in pharmacies. Conclusions: the construction of an attention on health care that acts in the premises of the quality, effectiveness and equity can contribute to a more autonomous nursing that is also consistent with the needs of the population in reproductive planning.
