Based on the immense importance of technology acceptance among the teachers and its vital role in education, the current study aims to bridge the theoretical gap by investigating the association between the school teachers' perception of facilitation learning environment and learning through experimentation among senior school teachers in Indonesia. Data was collected from the senior school teachers of Indonesia using a cross-sectional field survey. The final dataset of 163 respondents was then analyzed using SmartPls3 to test the measurement and structural models. Results revealed that the external variables like facilitation learning environment and learning through experimentation were positively associated with the perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and actual use of the educational technology among the senior school teachers. This study provided insights that the technology supportive learning through experimentation gives a feeling of comfort and ease to teachers, further leading towards the actual usage of modern technology in classroom settings.
The implementation of the value of life and integrity has been done in the teaching and learning process of science by moral problems in life that relate to biological issues and to train the students’ capability in problem-solving. It stimulated the students’ moral development involving logic, feeling, and behaviors deemed as right and wrong in students. The purpose of this study is to describe the students’ tiers of moral development through valid and reliable biological problem-solving. This study is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The theoretical formulation formed is a design of the level of moral development about biological problems. The collection of data is done through a task-based interview. The subject of this research is students in the 8th grade of Banjarmasin Middle School. The data is analyzed using a constant comparison method. The results of this study indicate a valid and reliable level of students’ moral development in solving biological problems. JPM2B1: An action is considered good from its principles and point of view to fulfill his/her obligations and needs without caring about other people’s needs. Students often claim that “solving a problem is easy, it’s because our teacher taught us to solve it”. JPM2B2: An action is considered good from its perspective and principle of the movement for the greater good and planning a solution. JPM2B3: An action is considered good with a view of helping each other in creating a better future. JPM2B4: An action is considered good with a view of caring for the needs of others, emphasizing rational considerations for humanitarian reasons and God’s blessing.
This study aims to describe the validity of worksheet on the concept of Environmental Change using the solution to the developed wetland problem. Problem-solving models are learning models that can be used related to answers to wetland environmental problems on the concept of environmental change. The validity of the worksheet is viewed from the six aspects, namely the material, linguistic, presentation, format, bibliography and particular elements of the model for solving wetland problems. The worksheet was validated by two validators, consisted of biology education lecturers. It was found that the validity of the spreadsheet an average for all aspects of 91.6% which is categorized as a very feasible category. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the spreadsheet of environmental change concept using a model for resolving the developed wetland problem is valid.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
