Neste artigo pretendemos compreender se, e de que forma, o cinema pode servir a uma cosmopoética do pensamento decolonial. Para tanto, nos apoiaremos em alguns conceitos dos estudos decoloniais, que buscam atualizar a tradição crítica do pensamento latino-americano a partir da problematização do pensamento hegemônico (eurocêntrico), oferecendo novas releituras histórias e novas possibilidades de produção dos saberes. A perspectiva decolonial opera fornecendo novos horizontes para o pensamento, promovendo uma ecologia dos modos de saber e conhecimento não reconhecidos pelas epistemologias dominantes. Assim, buscamos entender a potência cosmopoética do cinema e como ele pode contribuir, dentro dos espaços de educação, como alternativa epistemológica para o pensamento decolonial.
Inspirado na proposta de um método dramático da educação, de Corazza (2017), acreditamos ser possível acioná-lo a fim de compreender as potências de formação e transformação das subjetividades na educação a partir de algumas pistas: a potência agenciadora de alteridades e diferenças do cinema; a condição criativa do espectador; a experimentação dos dispositivos e das ferramentas de cinema no sentido de criação de um mundo comum (o caráter cosmopoético e cosmotecnológico do cinema); uma pedagogia do cinema fundada nos fragmentos e motivos visuais; por fim, o potencial de produção de experiências desarticuladoras das formas tradicionais da educação, bem como da formação de subjetividades. O texto tem caráter ensaístico e fragmentário, sugerindo hipóteses e (des)caminhos possíveis para o uso do cinema nos espaços educativos.
