Introduction: The new corona virus (2019-nCoV OR HCOV-19 or CoV2), has emerged in China as the main cause of viral pneumonia (COVID-19, Coronavirus Disease-19). Objective: To provide evidence-based Physiotherapy and functionality in patients with adult and pediatric COVID-19. Methods: This is an integrative literature review using the MedLine / PubMed databases, library of Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDRo). Results: Part of the patients with covid 19 show signs of respiratory deficiency with hypoxemia, with low severity in children. Impaired functionality is also expected. Conclusion: COVID-19 causes low pulmonary compliance and important changes in lung function with hypoxemia and cardiovascular repercussions. These changes lead to the need for Physiotherapy and the management of oxygen therapy and ventilatory support (invasive and non-invasive) for these patients.

Objetivo: descrever o perfil epidemiológico de gestantes de alto risco, com determinantes primários para near miss materno. Método: trata-se de um estudo quantitativo, realizado em uma instituição pública. A coleta de dados ocorreu nos meses de outubro de 2016 a agosto de 2017. Os dados foram compilados no programa SPSS® versão 20.0. A pesquisa foi aprovada com parecer: 1.757.596, CAAE: 59935716700005231. Resultados: participaram do estudo 319 mulheres, 70,5 % com idade de 20 a 35 anos, 58,6% da raça branca. Em relação as características obstétricas 38,2% eram primíparas, 52,0% dos casais não tinham planejado a gestação, 99,4 % realizaram o pré-natal e realizaram mais de seis consultas (92,5%), quanto a resolução da gestação 60, 2% foram realizados cesariana. Entre os determinantes primários de near miss predominou-se: hipertensão (55,5%) e infecção (16,9%), seguidos por distúrbios respiratórios (6,9%); neurológicos (6,5%); cardíacos (6,3%) e hemorrágicos ou de coagulação (4,4%); e entre os menos expressivos estão as disfunções: renais (2,5%) e hepáticas (0,9%). Conclusão: O estudo foi importante para conhecer as gestantes que apresentam determinantes primários para near miss e assim adequar a assistência. Neste sentido, ações para o entendimento da mulher na prevenção de riscos maternos e neonatais, devem ser elaboradas e estimuladas, almejando prevenção e promoção da saúde entre as mulheres.

BACKGROUND: Early mobilization can be a therapeutic intervention that can prevent long-term consequences from prolonged bed rest in post-operative newborns. OBJECTIVE: Describe the knowledge of the healthcare professionals in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) about early mobilization and its safety for post-operative infants. METHODS: This research is an analytical descriptive cross-sectional study with mixed methods, performed by analyzing a questionnaire given to NICU health professionals. RESULTS: The sample was composed of 31 professionals, of which 64.5% affirm that they know what early mobilization means, most of whom defined the intervention in terms of motor activity, 83% believe it is beneficial, 77.4% consider early mobilization safe. However, 90% of the professionals showed concerns for possible adverse events, the most cited being device dislodgment and hemodynamic decompensation. The majority stated that early mobilization should be avoided when concerned about hemodynamic instability or the type of surgery. Approximately 71% affirm that they did not receive educational training for implementing early mobilization. CONCLUSION: This study showed the need for more training and education about early mobilization for professionals and the establishment of evidence-based institutional protocols.

Objetivo: identificar as práticas obstétricas utilizadas no trabalho de parto e parto em parturientes classificadas como de alto risco Método: estudo quantitativo. A população foi constituída por puérperas classificadas como de alto risco. A coleta de dados ocorreu durante outubro de 2016 a agosto de 2017. Utilizou-se SPSS® 20.0. O estudo foi aprovado com número do parecer 1.757.596 Resultados: analisou-se 319 mulheres. O perfil prevalecido foram mulheres brancas (58,7%), com idade entre 20 a 35 anos (70,7%). A maior parte, realizou acompanhamento pré-natal (99,3%) e eram primíparas (40,4%). As patologias mais frequentes foram hipertensão (50,0%) e doenças associadas ao metabolismo (22,3%). Sobre a monitoração do trabalho de parto, 83,3% de ausculta do batimento cardio-fetal. A cesariana prevaleceu entre 60,8% das mulheres. Em relação aos métodos não farmacológicos para alívio da dor os mais utilizados foram: banho quente de aspersão (37,9%), bola para exercícios perineais (25,0%) Conclusão: todas as práticas obstétricas além de garantir uma evolução segura proporcionam uma experiência positiva sobre o parto, mesmo que a classificação seja de alto risco.Abstract: to identify the obstetric practices used in labor and delivery in parturients classified as high risk was the objective of the present study. Method: quantitative study. The population consisted of postpartum women classified as high risk. Data collection took place from October 2016 to August 2017. SPSS® 20.0 was used. The study was approved with opinion number 1,757,596 Results: 319 women were analyzed. The prevailing profile was white women (58.7%), aged between 20 and 35 years (70.7%). Most underwent prenatal care (99.3%) and were primiparous (40.4%). The most frequent pathologies were hypertension (50.0%) and diseases associated with metabolism (22.3%). About the monitoring of labor, 83.3% of auscultation of the fetal heartbeat. Cesarean section prevailed among 60.8% of women. Regarding non-pharmacological methods for pain relief, the most used were: hot spray bath (37.9%), perineal exercise ball (25.0) Conclusion: all obstetric practices, in addition to ensuring a safe evolution, provide an experience positive about childbirth, even if the classification is high risk.Keywords: Humanization of assistance.
